The details of the full soundtrack album for the Disney+ animated series The Proud Family: Louder and Prouder have been revealed. The album features the original songs from the show’s first season co-written by Kurt Farquhar (Black Lightning, The King of Queens, First Kill, Sister, Sister, Moesha, Being Mary Jane) who also composed the score for the Disney Television Animation production. The soundtrack will be released digitally this Friday, June 3 by Walt Disney Records and will be available to stream/download on Amazon and any other major digital music services. The label has previously released numerous singles featuring several of the songs over the last couple of weeks. The Proud Family: Louder and Prouder is created by Bruce W. Smith & Ralph Farquhar and stars Kyla Pratt, Tommy Davidson, JoMarie Payton, Cedric the Entertainer, Paula Jai Parker, Alisa Reyes, Karen Malina White and Soleil Moon Frye.

Soundtrack Album for Sky’s ‘The Midwich Cuckoos’ to Be Released
Invada Records will release a soundtrack album for the Sky original series The Midwich Cuckoos. The album features selections of the show’s original score composed by Emmy Award nominee Hannah Peel (Game of Thrones: The Last Watch, The Deceived, Freegard). The soundtrack will be released digitally tomorrow, June 3. Visit Amazon or any other major digital music services to stream/download the album. The Midwich Cuckoos is adapted by David Farr based on John Wyndham’s classic sci-fi novel of the same name and stars Keeley Hawes, Max Beesley, Synnøve Karlsen, Cherrelle Skeete, Samuel West, Aisling Loftus, Ukweli Roach, Lara Rossi, Lewis Reeves, Rebekah Staton and Anneika Rose. The 7-part drama is set in the titular English village, where a strange sequence of events culminates in the community’s women falling pregnant with alien children.
‘Maximilian & Marie De Bourgogne’ Soundtrack Album Released
MR Film has released a soundtrack album for the 2017 German/Austrian mini-series Maximilian & Marie De Bourgogne (aka Maximilian) directed by Andreas Prochaska and starring Christa Théret, Jannis Niewöhner, Miriam Fussenegger, Jean-Hugues Anglade, Stefan Pohl, Raphaël Lenglet, Johannes Krisch, Tobias Moretti and Sylvie Testud. The album features selections of the original music from the show composed by Matthias Weber (Das Boot, The Dark Valley, My Best Enemy, The Forsaken, Dead in 3 Days 2). ‘Firebuds’ Theme Song Released
Walt Disney Records has released the theme song from the upcoming Disney Junior animated series Firebuds. Firebuds Let’s Roll is written and performed by songwriter Beau Black and is now available to stream/download on all major digital music services, including Amazon. Firebuds is created and executive produced by Craig Gerber (Elena of Avalor, Sofia the First) and follows a team of young kids who are the children of first responders, and their talking vehicle sidekicks, as they embark on adventures together and learn what it truly means to be a hero.
Underworld’s Rick Smith & Karl Hyde Scoring FX’s ‘Pistol’
Rick Smith & Karl Hyde (of the electronic music group Underworld) have composed the original score for the new FX limited series Pistol. The show is created by Craig Pearce (Moulin Rouge!, The Great Gatsby), directed by Danny Boyle (Slumdog Millionaire, 28 Days Later…) and stars Toby Wallace, Anson Boon, Christian Lees, Louis Partridge, Jacob Slater, Sydney Chandler, Maisie Williams, Talulah Riley, Emma Appleton and Thomas Brodie-Sangster. The 6-part drama is based on Sex Pistols’ founding member and guitarist Steve Jones’ memoir Lonely Boy: Tales from a Sex Pistol and tells the story of a band of working-class kids with “no future,” who shook the boring, corrupt Establishment to its core, threatened to bring down the government and changed music and culture forever.
Main Title Theme from Disney Junior’s ‘Eureka!’ Released
Walt Disney Records has released the main title theme from the new Disney Junior animated series Eureka! The song written by Kari Kimmel (who serves as the show’s principal songwriter), show creators Norton Virgien & Niamh Sharkey and co-executive producer Erica Rothschild and performed by Lexi Underwood is now available to stream/download on all major digital music platforms, including Amazon. Eureka! starring Ruth Righi, Renée Elise Goldsberry, Lil Rel Howery and Javier Muñoz tells the story of a young girl inventor who designs inventions and contraptions in the hopes of making the world a better place and moving her prehistoric community into a more modern era.

Premiering tomorrow, May 31, is the CW drama Tom Swift created by Melinda Hsu Taylor, Noga Landau & Cameron Johnson starring Tian Richards, Ashleigh Murray, April Parker Jones, Marquise Vilsón, Albert Mwangi and LeVar Burton. The show’s original music is composed by Matthew Head (P-Valley, Boomerang, The Family Business). The series, which is inspired by the Tom Swift book series and revolves around the title character who was introduced in the network’s Nancy Drew, will air every Tuesday on the CW.
Premiering in the U.S. on Thursday, June 2, is the British drama This Is Going to Hurt created by Adam Kay based on his book of the same name and starring Ben Whishaw, Hannah Onslow, Ambika Mod, Michele Austin, Rosie Akerman and Andreea Paduraru. JARV IS…, led by Jarvis Cocker (of Pulp), have composed the film’s original music. Rough Trade Records has released a soundtrack album featuring the artist’s score and songs earlier this year. Kevin Kiner Scoring Disney+’s ‘Tales of the Jedi’
It was announced during a panel at today’s third day of Star Wars Celebration in Anaheim that Kevin Kiner (Narcos: Mexico, CSI: Miami, Making a Murderer, Hell on Wheels) is composing the music for Lucasfilm’s upcoming Disney+ animated shorts series Tales of the Jedi. The 6-part anthology show written and executive produced by Dave Filoni (The Mandalorian, The Book of Boba Fett) will tell stories from different Jedi of the prequel era and features Star Wars characters Ahsoka Tano, Count Dooku, Qui-Gon Jinn (voiced by Liam Neeson), Mace Windu and Anakin Skywalker.
