Walt Disney Records has released the main title theme from the new Disney Junior animated series Eureka! The song written by Kari Kimmel (who serves as the show’s principal songwriter), show creators Norton Virgien & Niamh Sharkey and co-executive producer Erica Rothschild and performed by Lexi Underwood is now available to stream/download on all major digital music platforms, including Amazon. Eureka! starring Ruth Righi, Renée Elise Goldsberry, Lil Rel Howery and Javier Muñoz tells the story of a young girl inventor who designs inventions and contraptions in the hopes of making the world a better place and moving her prehistoric community into a more modern era.

‘A Very Eureka Christmas’ Soundtrack Announced
Back Lot Music will release a new soundtrack album for the Syfy original series Eureka. A Very Eureka Christmas features the score for the two Christmas episodes O Little Town from 2010 and Do You See What I See from 2011 composed by Bear McCreary (Battlestar Galactica, The Walking Dead). The soundtrack will be released on November 20, 2012 and is now available for pre-order on iTunes, where you can also check out audio clips. La-La Land Records has previously released a soundtrack album featuring highlights from the composer’s score for the series (click here to order the release). Eureka created by Jaime Paglia, Bruce Miller and Todd Sharp and starring Colin Ferguson, Salli Richardson-Whitfield, Joe Morton, Erica Cerra, Neil Grayston and Niall Matter aired on Syfy from 2006 until July 2012. 2011 Summer Television Music Roundup (Part 3)
In our final part of our roundup of this summer’s television scores, we’ll take a look at the shows on TNT, Syfy, HBO and Lifetime. Also check out Part 1 and Part 2 of the series for the composers on all the other major network and cable shows of the summer.
TNT:
The most successful new show of the summer on TNT is the sci-fi series Falling Skies. The project starring Noah Wyle, Moon Bloodgood, Drew Roy, Sarah Carter and Maxim Knight is produced by Steven Spielberg and centers on an alien invasion of Earth and the resistance formed by the survivor. Also producing are Graham Yost (Justified) and Robert Rodat (writer of Saving Private Ryan). Noah Sorota is scoring the show.
