Michael Price has been tapped to score the upcoming British indie comedy Just Jim. The film is written and directed by Craig Roberts who makes his directorial debut with the project. The actor also stars in the movie alongside Emile Hirsch, Aneirin Hughes, Nia Roberts, Richard Harrington, Matthew Aubrey, Ryan Owen and Charlotte Randall. The drama follows a teenage loser who life is turned around by the appearance of an enigmatic, handsome neighbor. Adrian Bate and Pip Broughton are producing the project.

Christophe Beck is scoring the upcoming action comedy Hot Pursuit. The film is directed by Anne Fletcher (The Proposal, 27 Dresses) and stars Reese Witherspoon, Sofia Vergara and Michael Mosley. The movie follows apolice officer trying to protect a drug boss’s widow as they race through Texas pursued by crooked cops and gunmen. David Feeney (New Girl, 2 Broke Girls) and John Quaintance (Material Girls, Aquamarine) have written the screenplay. Dana Fox (What Happens in Vegas, Couples Retreat) is producing the Metro-Goldwayn-Mayer (MGM) production with Witherspoon and Bruna Papandrea (Wild, Warm Bodies) for their Pacific Standard production company.
Trevor Rabin Scoring Boaz Yakin’s ‘Max’
Trevor Rabin is reuniting with director Boaz Yakin on the upcoming family adventure Max. The movie starring Josh Wiggins, Thomas Haden Church, Lauren Graham and Robbie Amell follows a wayward teen who befriends the military dog that was partnered to his older brother, a US Marine killed in action in Afghanistan. Yakin (Now You See Me, Safe, Fresh) has also written the screenplay with Sheldon Lettich (Lionheart, Bloodsport). Karen Rosenfelt (The Twilight Saga, Marley & Me, Percy Jackson series) and Ken Blancato are producing the Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer (MGM) production.

Michael Andrews is composing the music for the upcoming indie drama The Adderall Diaries. The film is directed by Pamela Romanowsky and stars James Franco, Amber Heard, Ed Harris, Christian Slater, Cynthia Nixon and Jim Parrack. The movie centers on the gripping account of a young man navigating the unstable terrain of truth and identity. Romanowsky has also written the screenplay based on the memoir by Stephen Elliott (About Cherry). Franco & Vince Jolivette (Palo Alto, Child of God) are producing the project for Rabbit Bandini Productions, alongside James Reach & Joseph McKelheer for Windowseat Films. Theodore Shapiro is reteaming with director Karyn Kusama on the upcoming thriller The Invitation. The movie stars Logan Marshall-Green, Tammy Blanchard, Michiel Huisman, Emayatzy Corinealdi, Lindsay Burdge, John Carroll Lynch, Mike Doyle, Michelle Krusiec, Marieh Delfino and Jay Larson. The film follows a haunted man attending a dinner party who becomes gripped with paranoia that his ex-wife and her new husband are harboring an insidious agenda. Phil Hay & Matt Manfredi (Ride Along, Clash of the Titans, R.I.P.D.) have written the screenplay and are also producing the project with Martha Griffin (Aeon Flux).
Marcelo Zarvos to Score ‘The Choice’
Marcelo Zarvos is reuniting with director Ross Katz on the upcoming romantic drama The Choice. The film based on the novel of the same title by Nicholas Sparks (The Notebook, Dear John, Message in a Bottle) stars Benjamin Walker, Teresa Palmer, Tom Welling, Alexandra Daddario, Maggie Grace and Tom Wilkinson. The movie is set in a small coastal town where a young man ends up pursuing a relationship with his new neighbor, leading to a journey that neither could have foreseen. Bryan Sipe (Demolition) has written the screenplay. Sparks is also producing the project with Theresa Park (The Best of Me, The Longest Ride) and Peter Safran (The Conjuring, Annabelle, Buried).
Timothy Williams Scoring Robert Duvall’s ‘Wild Horses’
Timothy Williams is currently scoring the upcoming western Wild Horses. The film is directed by Robert Duvall who also stars in the movie alongside James Franco, Josh Hartnett, Luciana Duvall and Adriana Barraza. The movie centers on the impact on a Texas rancher’s family when the Texas Rangers reopen an investigation into a missing person case. Duvall has also written the screenplay and is producing the project with Michael Mendelsohn (Rage, I Am Michael) of Patriot Pictures and Rob Carline (Crazy Heart, The Apostle, Assassination Tango).

Steve Jablonsky has been hired to score the upcoming fantasy adventure The Last Witch Hunter. The film is directed by Breck Eisner (Sahara, The Crazies) and stars Vin Diesel, Rose Leslie, Elijah Wood, Julia Engelbrecht and Michael Caine. The movie follows the last remaining witch hunter who partners with his natural enemy, a female witch, to stop the covens of New York City from unleashing a plague on humanity. Burk Sharpless & Matt Sazama (Dracula Untold, Gods of Egypt) have written the screenplay based on a pitch by Cory Goodman (Priest). Diesel is also producing the Summit Entertainment production with Mark Canton (300, The Spiderwick Chronicles, Piranha 3D) and Bernie Goldmann (300: Rise of an Empire, Mirror Mirror, Fool’s Gold).

Danny Bensi and Saunder Jurriaans have been tapped to score the upcoming indie drama The Ticket. The film is directed by Ida Fluk and stars Dan Stevens, Malin Akerman, Kerry Bishe and Oliver Platt. The movie follows a blind man who regains his vision only to be engulfed in selfishness, blinded by his obsession for the superficial. Fluk has also co-written the script with Sharon Mashishi. Oren Moverman (Rampart, The Messenger) is producing the project with Lawrence Inglee for Blackbird Films, alongside Bill Walton & Matt Malek for Rush River Entertainment. Dale Brown, Nick Byasse and Katie Heidy are executive producing.
James Newton Howard to Score ‘Concussion’
James Newton Howard has signed on to score the upcoming drama Concussion. The film is directed by Peter Landesman and stars Will Smith, Alec Baldwin, Gugu Mbatha-Raw, Luke Wilson, Arliss Howard, Paul Reiser, David Morse and Albert Brooks. The movie centers on Dr. Bennet Omalu, the forensic neuropathologist who discovered football-related brain trauma in a player and fought to bring awareness to the public. Landesman has also written the screenplay based on the GQ article Game Brain by Jeanne Marie Laskas. Ridley Scott (Gladiator, Blade Runner, Alien) is producing the project with Giannina Facio (Tristan + Isolde), David Wolthoff, Larry Shuman and Elizabeth Cantillon (The Banger Sisters).
