Rupert Gregson-Williams (Aquaman, Wonder Woman, Hacksaw Ridge, Smallfoot, Over the Hedge, The Legend of Tarzan, Hotel Rwanda, The Crown) has been tapped to score the upcoming romantic fantasy sequel Practical Magic 2. The film is directed by Susanne Bier (Bird Box, In a Better World) and stars Sandra Bullock, Nicole Kidman, Stockard Channing & Diane Wiest who reprise their roles from the 1998 original movie (scored by Alan Silvestri). They are joined by new cast members Lee Pace, Xolo Maridueña, Maisie Williams, Solly McLeod and Joey King. The sequel follows the Owens sisters as they must confront the dark curse that threatens to unravel their family once and for all.

Composer Emile Mosseri (Minari, The Last Black Man in San Francisco, How to Make a Killing, Kajillionaire, Homecoming, Preparation for the Next Life) is reuniting with actor/writer/director Jesse Eisenberg (A Real Pain) on the upcoming musical comedy The Debut. The film is written and directed by Eisenberg and stars Julianne Moore, Paul Giamatti, Halle Bailey, Eisenberg himself, Craig Bierko, Cara Buono, Eldar Isgandarov and Bernadette Peters. As previously reported, Eisenberg has also written all original songs for the movie, which follows a shy, unassuming housewife performing a bit part at a small community theater as she transforms into a zealous method actor willing to do anything to protect the artistic integrity of her marginal role.
