Opening in New York and Los Angeles today before expanding to more markets in the coming weeks is the musical drama Carmen co-written and directed by Benjamin Millepied and starring Melissa Barrera, Paul Mescal and Rossy de Palma. The film’s original score is composed by Nicholas Britell (Succession, Andor, MoonlightIf Beale Street Could Talk) who also wrote the project’s original songs with Taura StinsonJulieta Venegas and Tracy “The D.O.C.” Curry.
