Paul Leonard-Morgan revealed on Twitter that he is currently scoring the pilot of The CW reboot of Dynasty. The show is created by Josh Schwartz (The O.C., Chuck, Gossip Girl), Stephanie Savage (Endless Love, Heart of Dixie) & Sallie Patrick and stars Nathalie Kelley, Elizabeth Gillies, Alan Dale, Sam Adegoke, Rob Riley and Grant Show. The series is based on the classic 80s series of the same title and follows two of America’s wealthiest families, the Carringtons and the Colbys, as they feud for control over their fortune and their children. Schwartz, Savage & Patrick are also executive producing the Fake Empire and CBS Television production with original Dynasty creators Esther and Richard Shapiro.

Soundtrack Album for CBS’ ‘Limitless’ Series Released
A soundtrack album has been released for the CBS drama Limitless. The album features the selections from the show’s original music composed by Paul Leonard-Morgan (Dredd, MI-5, Walking with Dinosaurs 3D, The Numbers Station) who received an Emmy Award nomination for his work on the project and also scored the 2011 feature the series is based on. The soundtrack is now available to download on Amazon, where you can also listen to audio samples. Limitless is developed by Craig Sweeny and stars Jake McDorman, Jennifer Carpenter & Mary Elizabeth Mastrantonio. The drama, which follows Brian Sinclair as he discovers the power of the mysterious drug NZT and is coerced into using his newfound drug-enhanced abilities to solve weekly cases for the FBI, aired between 2015 and 2016 on CBS.
Paul Leonard-Morgan to Score Errol Morris’ ‘The B-Side: Elsa Dorfman’s Portrait Photography’
Paul Leonard-Morgan has been hired to score the upcoming documentary The B-Side: Elsa Dorfman’s Portrait Photography. The film is directed by Academy Award-winning filmmaker Errol Morris (The Fog of War, The Unknown Known, The Thin Blue Line, Standard Operating Procedure) and profiles legendary photographer Elsa Dorfman, whose subjects have included such friends as Allen Ginsberg, Bob Dylan, and Jonathan Richman. Steven Hathaway is producing the project and Robert Fernandez (Austenland) & Julia Sheehan serve as executive producers on the Fourth Floor and Moxie Pictures production.

Paul Leonard-Morgan is set to score the CBS pilot Limitless. The show is based on the 2011 hit feature, which the composer also scored, and is adapted for television by Craig Sweeny (Elementary, Medium). The drama starring Jake McDorman, Jennifer Carpenter & Mary Elizabeth Mastrantonio follows Brian Sinclair as he discovers the power of the mysterious drug NZT and is coerced into using his newfound drug-enhanced abilities to solve weekly cases for the FBI. Marc Webb (The Amazing Spider-Man, (500) Days of Summer) is directing the pilot episode. Bradley Cooper who starred in the feature film is producing the CBS TV Studios, K/O Paper Products and Relativity Media production with Webb, Sweeny, Alex Kurtzman & Roberto Orci (Transformers, Star Trek, Sleepy Hollow), Heather Kadin (Scorpion), Todd Phillips (The Hangover, Old School), Ryan Kavanaugh & Tucker Tooley (The Fighter, Immortals) and Tom Forman.
‘The Numbers Station’ Soundtrack Announced
MovieScore Media has announced a soundtrack album for the thriller The Numbers Station. The album features the film’s original music composed by Paul Leonard-Morgan (Limitless, Walking with Dinosaurs, Dredd). Paul Leonard-Morgan to Score Lifetime’s ‘Grumpy Cat’s Worst Christmas Ever’
Paul Leonard-Morgan announced on Twitter that he is scoring the upcoming Lifetime original movie Grumpy Cat’s Worst Christmas Ever. The film is directed by Tim Hill (Alvin and the Chipmunks, Hop, SpongeBob SquarePants) and stars Aubrey Plaza as the voice of Grumpy Cat. The live action movie follows a pet-store cat that is perpetually overlooked and the 12-year-old girl (played by Megan Charpentier) who can communicate with her cat. Grumpy Cat (aka Tardar Sauce) is an internet celebrity and has already spawned a book, a coffee product and more. Hill also wrote the film’s teleplay with Jeff Morris and Arturo Interian is executive producing the project. Grumpy Cat’s Worst Christmas Ever is set to premiere on November 29, 2014 on Lifetime.
‘Legendary’ Soundtrack Announced
Just Temptation will release a soundtrack album for the 3D action adventure Legendary. The album features the film’s original music composed by Paul Leonard-Morgan (Limitless, Dredd, Walking with Dinosaurs 3D). The soundtrack will be released digitally on June 28, 2014 and is now available for pre-order on Amazon. Check out audio clips after the jump. Legendary is directed by Eric Styles (Relative Values) and stars Scott Adkins, Dolph Lundgren, Huang Yi and Lydia Leonard. The movie follows a trophy hunter who clashes with a crypto-zoologist over the hunt for a dragon-like creature in the jungle. The film opened in China last year and will be released in select U.S. theaters next month by Wrekin Hill Entertainment, followed by a release on VOD and DVD on July 29.
‘Walking with Dinosaurs’ Soundtrack Details
Metropolis Movie Music will release a soundtrack album for the 3D family action adventure Walking With Dinosaurs. The album features the film’s original music composed by Paul Leonard-Morgan (Limitless, Dredd). The soundtrack will be released on January 21, 2014 and is now available for pre-order on Amazon, where you can also check out audio clips. Walking With Dinosaurs is directed by Neil Nightingale & Barry Cook and features the voices of John Leguizamo, Justin Long, Tiya Sircar and Skyler Stone. The movie centers on two brothers looking to follow in their father’s footsteps, which leads them to a showdown with dinosaurs in the Arctic. The BBC Earth production was released last month by 20th Century Fox and is now playing in theaters.
