W.G. Snuffy Walden has signed on to score the upcoming NBC event series Aquarius. The show is created by John McNamara (Prime Suspect, Fastlane) and stars David Duchovny, Gethin Anthony, Grey Damon, Emma Dumont and Claire Holt. The series is set in the 1960s and follows a cop who goes undercover to track Charles Manson and the Manson Family before their infamous murder spree. McNamara is also executive producing the ITV Studios America production with Marty Adelstein (Prison Break, Last Man Standing, Tru Calling), Duchovny and Melanie Greene (Californication).

Gabriel Mann to Score NBC’s ‘Marry Me’
Gabriel Mann has been hired to score the upcoming NBC comedy Marry Me. The show is created by David Caspe (Happy Endings, That’s My Boy) and stars Casey Wilson, Ken Marino, Sarah Wright Olsen, John Gemberling, Tymberlee Hill and Tim Meadows. The comedy follows a young couple who get engaged, something they quickly realize is harder than it looks. Seth Gordon (Horrible Bosses, Identity Thief) has directed the pilot episode and also serves as an executive producer on the Sony Pictures Television production alongside Caspe, Jamie Tarses (Happy Endings, Men at Work), Moses Port & David Guarascio (Community, Just Shoot Me!). Marry Me is set to premiere on October 14, 2014 and will air every Tuesday night on NBC.

Premiering tonight on PBS is the documentary The Roosevelts: An Intimate Portrait directed by Ken Burns about the lives of Theodore, Franklin and Eleanor Roosevelt, three members of the most prominent and influential family in American politics. NBC’s ‘A to Z’ to Feature Music by Craig Wedren
Craig Wedren has been hired to score the new NBC comedy A to Z. The show is created by Ben Queen (Drive, Cars 2) and stars Ben Feldman, Cristin Milioti, Henry Zebrowski, Lenora Crichlow, Christina Kirk and Hong Chau. Katey Sagal is narrating the series, which follows the relationship between a male employee at an internet dating site and a female no-nonsense lawyer, from meeting to breakup. Queen is also executive producing the Warner Bros. Television and Le Train Train production with Rashida Jones (Parks and Recreation), Will McCormack (Celeste & Jesse Forever), Bill Callahan (Psych) and Michael Patrick Jann (Reno 911!). A to Z is set to premiere on October 2, 2014 and will air every Thursday night on NBC.
‘Hannibal’ Season 2 Soundtrack Details
The details of the two soundtrack albums for the second season of NBC’s Hannibal have been revealed. The albums feature selections from the original score of the show composed by Brian Reitzell (30 Days of Night, Boss, Stranger Than Fiction, Friday Night Lights). Both albums will be released digitally on September 2, 2014. The Season 2 – Volume 1 soundtrack is available for pre-order on Amazon and click here to pre-order the Season 2 – Volume 2 soundtrack. Audio clips from both albums are available after the jump. As previously reported, the label has just released the first two soundtracks for the show today. Bear McCreary to Score NBC’s ‘Constantine’
It was announced this evening at Comic-Con that Bear McCreary is scoring the upcoming NBC drama Constantine. The show is developed by Daniel Cerone (The Mentalist, Dexter) & David S. Goyer (Man of Steel, The Dark Knight Rises) and stars Matt Ryan, Harold Perrineau and Charles Halford. The drama is based on the comic book series Hellblazer from DC Comics and follows seasoned demon hunter and master of the occult John Constantine who is armed with a ferocious knowledge of the dark arts and a wickedly naughty wit. Cerone and Goyer are also producing the project for Bonanza Productions and Warner Bros. Television. McCreary has previously collaborated with Goyer on the Starz original series Da Vinci’s Demons. Neil Marshall (The Descent, Centurion) has directed the pilot episode. Constantine is set to premiere on October 24, 2014 and will air every Friday night on NBC.
