Lakeshore Records will release a soundtrack album for the fantasy horror adventure Dust Bunny. The album features the film’s original music composed by Isabella Summers (aka Isa Machine of Florence + the Machine) (Little Fires Everywhere, KAOS, Lady Chatterley’s Lover, Lisa Frankenstein, Physical, My Oxford Year, Call Jane, The Offer, Hitpig!). The soundtrack will be released digitally this Friday, December 19 and will be available to stream/download on Amazon and any other major digital music services. Dust Bunny marks the feature directorial debut of Bryan Fuller (who also wrote the screenplay) and stars Mads Mikkelsen, Sigourney Weaver, Sophie Sloan, Sheila Atim and David Dastmalchian. Brian Reitzell to Score Starz’s ‘American Gods’
Brian Reitzell has signed on to compose the music for the upcoming Starz original series American Gods. The show is created by Bryan Fuller (Pushing Daisies) & Michael Green (Green Lantern) based on Neil Gaiman’s fantasy novel and stars Rickey Whittle, Ian McShane, Emily Browning, Jonathan Tucker, Crispin Glover, Cloris Leachman, Pablo Schreiber, Peter Stormare, Yetide Badaki, Bruce Langley, Chris Obi and Mousa Kraish. The drama follows a recently released ex-convict named Shadow who meets a mysterious man who calls himself “Wednesday” and who knows more than he first seems to about Shadow’s life and past.
‘Hannibal’ Season 1 Soundtracks Details
The details of the first two soundtrack albums for the psychological thriller series Hannibal have been revealed. The albums feature the music from the first season of the show composed by Brian Reitzell (30 Days of Night, Red Riding Hood, Boss). Since our last update, Lakeshore Records has announced that the albums will be released digitally on August 5, 2014 followed by a physical release. Music from both seasons of the series will be featured on the albums, which are set to be released on September 2, 2014. Brian Reitzell to Score NBC’s ‘Hannibal’
Brian Reitzell is scoring the upcoming NBC drama Hannibal. The show is based on the characters from Thomas Harris’ classic novels (The Silence of the Lambs, Red Dragon) and stars Hugh Dancy as Will Graham and Mads Mikkelsen as Hannibal Lecter. Laurence Fishburne, Caroline Dhavernas, Eddie Izzard, Gina Torres, Molly Shannon, Gillian Anderson, Ellen Greene and Chelan Simmons are co-starring. The show, which centers on the serial killer’s budding relationship with the FBI agent, is developed by Bryan Fuller (Pushing Daisies) who is also executive producing the project with Martha De Laurentiis (film versions of Hannibal, Red Dragon and Hannibal Rising), Sara Colleton (Dexter), Jesse Alexander (Lost) and Katie O’Connell.
Jim Dooley to Score Bryan Fuller’s ‘Hannibal’
Jim Dooley revealed at the film composer panel Behind the Music: Composing for WonderCon’s Favorite Projects at the WonderCon 2012 earlier this month that he will be scoring the upcoming TV drama Hannibal. The series is created and executive produced by Bryan Fuller who previously worked with the composer on the critically acclaimed show Pushing Daisies, for which Dooley has received an Emmy Award. The Hannibal TV show is based on the iconic literary and film character Hannnibal Lector created by Thomas Harris and centers on the character’s budding relationship with FBI agent Will Graham. Hugh Dancy has been cast as Graham who was played by Edward Norton in 2002’s Red Dragon. No word yet on who will portray the title character. Martha De Laurentiis who produced the film versions of Hannibal, Red Dragon and Hannibal Rising is an executive producer on the project.
