Jason Hill (Mindhunter, Voir, The Confession Killer, Love, Death & Robots) has been tapped to score the upcoming Apple TV+ original series City on Fire. The show is developed by Josh Schwartz (The O.C.) & Stephanie Savage (Gossip Girl) and stars Wyatt Oleff, Chase Sui Wonders, Jemima Kirke, Xavier Clyde, Nico Tortorella, Ashley Zukerman, Alexandra Doke, Max Milner, Omid Abtahi, Kathleen Munroe and John Cameron Mitchell. The 8-part drama is inspired by the novel of the same name by Garth Risk Hallberg and revolves around a crime against a NYU student who is shot in Central Park on the Fourth of July, 2003.

Premiering in the U.S. tonight is the British limited series A Spy Among Friends created by Alexander Cary based on Ben Macintyre’s bestselling book and starring Damian Lewis, Guy Pearce, Stephen Kunken, Anna Maxwell Martin, and Adrian Edmondson. Soundtrack Album for Netflix’s ‘Love, Death + Robots’ to Be Released
Lakeshore Records will release the first soundtrack album for the Netflix animated anthology series Love, Death + Robots. The album features the original music from the show’s third season composed by Rob Cairns (Dallas, The Forger, The Bachelor) and Jason Hill (Mindhunters, Voir). Also included is the score from the Tim Miller-directed episode Swarm composed by Tom Holkenborg (Mad Max: Fury Road, Deadpool, Zack Snyder’s Justice League) with additional music by Shwan Askari, as well a track from the episode Jibaro by Killawatt. The soundtrack will be released digitally this Friday, September 30 and will be available to stream/download on Amazon and any other major digital music services.

Jason Hill (Mindhunter, Fyre, The Confession Killer) has composed the original score for the new Netflix docu-series This Is a Robbery: The World’s Biggest Art Heist. The show is directed by Colin Barnicle and focuses on the biggest art heist in history over St. Patrick’s Day weekend in 1990, when two men dressed as cops conned their way into the Isabella Stewart Gardner Museum in Boston and steal a fortune in art. The 4-parter covers the leads, dead ends, lucky breaks and speculations that characterized the investigation of this still unsolved mystery.
‘Mindhunter’ Season 2 Soundtrack Released
BMG has released a new soundtrack album for the Netflix original series Mindhunter. The album features selections of the original music from the show’s second season composed by Jason Hill. The soundtrack is now available to stream and download on Amazon Music, where you can also check out audio samples. Milan Records has previously released released a soundtrack featuring Hill’s score from Season 1. Mindhunter is created by Joe Penhall, executive produced by David Fincher and stars Jonathan Groff, Holt McCallany, Anna Torv and Stacey Roca. The series is set in the late 1970s and centers on two FBI agents expand criminal science by delving into the psychology of murder and getting uneasily close to all-too-real monsters.
