Mercury Classics Soundtrack & Score will release a soundtrack album for the Apple TV+ original anthology series Extrapolations. The album features selections of the original score from the show’s first season composed by Dan Romer (Luca, Beasts of the Southern Wild, Station Eleven), Jason Hill (Mindhunter, Voir) and David Wingo (Barry, Take Shelter, Midnight Special). Also included are songs by Rufus Wainwright, Portugal. The Man, Ben Harper, Ryoko & The Earl and Zager & Evans. The soundtrack will be released digitally tomorrow, April 21 and will be available to stream/download on most major digital music services, including Amazon. Extrapolations is created by Scott Z. Burns and stars Meryl Streep, Edward Norton, Kit Harington, Diane Lane,Sienna Miller, Yara Shahidi, Daveed Diggs,Marion Cotillard, Keri Russell, Matthew Rhys, Gemma Chan, Adarsh Gourav, Indira Varma, David Schwimmer, Heather Graham, Forest Whitaker and Tahar Rahim. The 8-part drama, which depicts the effects of climate change on the planet through several interconnected stories, premiered last month with the final episode making its debut tomorrow on Apple TV+.
