Discovery Channel will release a soundtrack album for the critically acclaimed series Manhunt: Unabomber. The album features selections from the show’s original score composed by Gregory Tripi (Dark Places, Rememory). Also included is the main titles theme written by Atticus Ross (The Social Network, The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo, Gone Girl) & Nick Chuba. The soundtrack will be released digitally on December 15, 2017. The download link will be added to this page within the next two weeks. Manhunt: Unabomber is created by Andrew Sodroski and stars Sam Worthington, Paul Bettany, Chris Noth, Keisha Castle-Hughes, Jane Lynch, Mark Duplass, Brian d’Arcy James, Trieste Kelly Dunn, Elizabeth Reaser and Rebecca Henderson.

Two new movies are opening nationwide this weekend:
Guaranteed to top the weekend box office is the horror thriller It directed by Andrés Muschietti and starring Jaeden Lieberher, Wyatt Oleff, Jeremy Ray Taylor, Sophia Lillis, Finn Wolfhard, Jack Dylan Grazer, Chosen Jacobs, Nicholas Hamilton and Bill Skarsgård. The film’s original music is composed by Benjamin Wallfisch (Annabelle: Creation, Hidden Figures, Blade Runner 2049, A Cure for Wellness). Also opening wide is the romantic comedy Home Again written and directed by Hallie Meyers-Shyer and starring Reese Witherspoon, Pico Alexander, Nat Wolff, Jon Rudnitsky, Michael Sheen, Candice Bergen and Lake Bell. John Debney (The Passion of the Christ, The Jungle Book, Elf, Iron Man 2) has composed the film’s original music. No word on a soundtrack release. ‘Rememory’ Soundtrack Details
Lakeshore Records will release a soundtrack album for the sci-fi thriller Rememory. The album features the film’s original music composed by Gregory Tripi (Manhunt: Unabomber, Dark Places). The soundtrack will be released digitally on September 8, 2017 and is now available for pre-order on Amazon. Rememory is co-written and directed by Mark Palansky (Penelope) and stars Peter Dinklage, Julia Ormond, Martin Donovan, Anton Yelchin, Henry Ian Cusick and Evelyne Brochu. The movie follows the widow of a wise professor who stumbles upon one of his inventions that’s able to record and play a person’s memory.

Discovery’s ‘Manhunt: Unabomber’ to Feature Music by Gregory Tripi
Gregory Tripi is currently scoring the upcoming Discovery anthology mini-series Manhunt: Unabomber. The show is created by Andrew Sodroski and stars Sam Worthington, Paul Bettany, Chris Noth, Keisha Castle-Hughes, Jane Lynch, Mark Duplass, Brian d’Arcy James, Trieste Kelly Dunn, Elizabeth Reaser and Rebecca Henderson. The drama’s first season tells the true story of how the FBI tracked down notorious Unabomber Ted Kaczynski, told from the point of view of the FBI profiler in charge of the manhunt. Sodroski is also executive producing the project with Greg Yaitanes (Banshee, House) who serves as the showrunner.

Opening in most theaters is the superhero movie Fantastic Four directed by Josh Trank and starring Miles Teller, Michael B. Jordan, Kate Mara, Jamie Bell and Toby Kebbell. The film’s original music is composed by Marco Beltrami (Scream, The Wolverine, World War Z, 3:10 to Yuma) and Philip Glass (The Hours, Notes on a Scandal, Candyman). Sony Classical has released a soundtrack album featuring the composers’ music digitally last week and a CD version is set to come out on August 14. Milan Records has released a soundtrack album for the mystery thriller Dark Places. The album features the film’s original music composed by Gregory Tripi and BT (The Fast and the Furious, Monster, Go). Also included are tracks by Belong, Jag Panzer, The Georgia Satellites and David Kristian. The soundtrack is now available digitally overseas. Gregory Tripi is scoring the upcoming indie mystery thriller Dark Places. The film is written and directed by Gilles Paquet-Brenner (Sarah’s Key, Walled In) and stars Charlize Theron, Chloe Grace Moretz, Nicholas Hoult, Christina Hendricks, Corey Stoll, Tye Sheridan. Drea DeMatteo, Andrea Roth and Sterling Jerins. The movie is based on a novel by Gillian Flynn (Gone Girl) and follows a woman who survived the massacre of her family as a young girl and testified against her brother. 25 years later, she is confronted by a secret society obsessed with solving notorious crimes. Stephane Marsil (Adventures of Arsene Lupin), Beth Kono & AJ Dix (The Butterfly Effect, Sleepwalking), Cathy Schulman (Crash, The Illusionist) Matthew Rhodes (Southland Tales, Passengers) and Matt Jackson (End of Watch, Snitch) are producing the project.
