The film is written and directed by Halina Reijn (Bodies Bodies Bodies, Instinct) and stars Nicole Kidman, Harris Dickinson, Antonio Banderas, Sophie Wilde and Jean Reno. The movie revolves around a successful CEO who begins an illicit affair with a much younger, charismatic intern. Reijn is also producing the A24 production for MAN UP Film, alongside 2AM’s David Hinojosa (Past Lives, First Reformed, Zola).

Leo Birenberg & Zach Robinson have won their first Emmy Award for their score for The Roku Channel original movie Weird: The Al Yankovic Story in the Outstanding Music Composition for a Limited or Anthology Series, Movie, or Special category at today’s first night of the Creative Arts Emmy Awards ceremony in Los Angeles. Cristobal Tapia de Veer has picked up his third Emmy Award for his music from the Season 2 episode In the Sandbox from HBO’s The White Lotus in the Outstanding Music Composition for a Series category and Danny Elfman won the Emmy in the Original Main Title Theme Music category for Netflix’s Wednesday.

The film is written and directed by Parker Finn and stars Sosie Bacon, Kyle Gallner, Jessie T. Usher, Kal Penn, Rob Morgan, Judy Reyes, Caitlin Stasey and Gillian Zinser. The movie is based on Finn’s short Laura Hasn’t Slept and follows a psychiatrist who begins to experience terrifying occurrences that only she can see and grows increasingly convinced that she’s being pursued by a malevolent supernatural force.
