Milan Records has announced a deluxe vinyl soundtrack release for the second season of the Netflix original series Wednesday. The album features both the vocal and instrumental tracks performed throughout the show by the series’ cast (and Bella Poarch’s additional covers), as well as selections of the new season’s original score composed by Chris Bacon (Heretic, Source Code, Bates Motel, Men in Black: International). The vinyl is pressed on purple and black blended transparent vinyl, with a spot-glossed cover, custom labels, printed vinyl pockets, a poster and lyric insert and is scheduled to be released on December 5. The full details of the second score album for the Netflix original series Wednesday have been revealed. The album features selections of the original music from the final four episodes of Season 2 composed by Chris Bacon (Heretic, Source Code, Bates Motel, M3GAN 2.0, Men in Black: International, Gnomeo & Juliet). The Volume 2 soundtrack will be released digitally this Wednesday, September 3 by Milan Records and will be available to stream/download on Amazon and any other major digital music services. The label has previously released the first volume last month and will also release a separate soundtrack featuring the covers from Season 2 on Wednesday. Danny Elfman’s & Bacon’s score from Season 1 was released in 2023 by Lakeshore Records. The details of the full soundtrack album for the second season of the Netflix original series Wednesday have been revealed. The album features the content of the Season 2, Volume 1 EP (including a cover of Bad Moon Rising, the instrumental Zombie cover and the original song Nevermore Alma Mater), as well as four additional tracks from the second part of the season: Bella Poarch’s cover versions of Zombie (already out now as a digital single) & Don’t Fear the Reaper, an instrumental arrangement of the Blue Öyster Cult track, as well as an alternate Bad Moon Rising cover. The soundtrack will be released digitally next Wednesday, September 3 by Milan Records and is now available for pre-order on Amazon. The label will also release the second score album featuring Chris Bacon’s music from the second part of Season 2 on the same day.

Leo Birenberg, Zach Robinson, Cristobal Tapia de Veer & Danny Elfman Win Emmy Awards for ‘Weird’, ‘The White Lotus’ & ‘Wednesday’
Leo Birenberg & Zach Robinson have won their first Emmy Award for their score for The Roku Channel original movie Weird: The Al Yankovic Story in the Outstanding Music Composition for a Limited or Anthology Series, Movie, or Special category at today’s first night of the Creative Arts Emmy Awards ceremony in Los Angeles. Cristobal Tapia de Veer has picked up his third Emmy Award for his music from the Season 2 episode In the Sandbox from HBO’s The White Lotus in the Outstanding Music Composition for a Series category and Danny Elfman won the Emmy in the Original Main Title Theme Music category for Netflix’s Wednesday.
More Music from Netflix’s ‘Wednesday’ to Be Released
Lakeshore Records will release a new soundtrack EP for the Netflix original series Wednesday. The 7-track EP features the previously unreleased instrumental cover version of Metallica’s Nothing Else Matters performed by the Nevermore Academy Orchestra, as well as The Cramps’ Goo Goo Muck as featured during Jenna Ortega’s dance scene in the fourth episode (check out the sequence below). Also included are all tracks from the previous “covers” EP, as well as Danny Elfman’s Emmy Award-nominated main titles theme, which is also featured on the original score album. The new soundtrack will be released digitally this coming Friday, July 21 (click here to stream/download).

The 4-track EP features the cover version of The Rolling Stones’ Paint It Black performed in the show by Jenna Ortega’s title character, Wednesday Addams, as well as the cover of Fleetwood Mac’s Don’t Stop, a piece from Vivaldi’s violin concertos Four Seasons and Elgar’s Concerto in E Minor for Violincello and Orchestra performed by the Nevermore Academy Orchestra. The soundtrack will be released digitally tomorrow, November 30 and will be available to stream/download on Amazon and any other major digital music services.
