The track is written by the show’s composers Craig Wedren (Role Models, The School of Rock, We Hot American Summer) & Anna Waronker (Shrill, Call Me Kat, Santa Inc.) and is now available to stream/download on all major digital music platforms, including Amazon. Craig Wedren & Annie Clark (St. Vincent) Scoring Stephanie Allynne’s & Tig Notaro’s ‘Am I OK?’
Craig Wedren (Role Models, School of Rock, Wet Hot American Summer, GLOW, How to Be a Latin Lover) & Annie Clark (aka St. Vincent) (The Nowhere Inn) have teamed up score the upcoming drama Am I OK? The film marks the feature directorial debut of actresses Stephanie Allynne & Tig Notaro and stars Dakota Johnson, Sonoya Mizuno, Jermaine Fowler, Kiersey Clemons, Molly Gordon and Sean Hayes. The movie follows two best friends as they are working through the complexities of self-discovery and personal awakening. Lauren Pomerantz wrote the screenplay.

Theodore Shapiro (The Devil Wears Prada, Bombshell, Spy, Tropic Thunder, Ghostbusters, Marley & Me) has composed the original score for the first episode of the new Showtime original series Yellowjackets. Craig Wedren (Role Models, We Hot American Summer, The School of Rock, GLOW) & Anna Waronker (Shrill, Call Me Kat, The Republic of Sarah) are scoring the later episodes of the show created by Ashley Lyle & Bart Nickerson and starring Melanie Lynskey, Juliette Lewis, Christina Ricci, Tawny Cypress, Warren Kole, Ella Purnell, Samantha Hanratty, Sophie Thatcher, Sophie Nélisse, Steven Krueger and Jasmin Savoy Brown. The drama follows a team of wildly talented high school girls soccer players who become the survivors of a plane crash deep in the remote northern wilderness.

Opening in theaters nationwide today is the drama Cry Macho directed by Clint Eastwood and starring Eastwood himself, Eduardo Minett, Natalia Traven, Fernanda Urrejola, Dwight Yoakam and Horacio Garcia-Rojas. The film’s original music is composed by Mark Mancina (Moana, Tarzan, Bad Boys, Speed, Twister, August Rush, Training Day). WaterTower Music has released a soundtrack album featuring the composer’s score, as well as an original song performed by Will Banister last week. Craig Wedren & Bo Boddie Scoring Christian & Justin Long’s ‘Lady of the Manor’
Craig Wedren (Role Models, Wet Hot American Summer, School of Rock, How to Be a Latin Lover) & Bo Boddie have teamed up to score the new supernatural comedy Lady of the Manor. The film marks the feature directorial debut of Christian Long & Justin Long and stars Melanie Lynskey, Justin Long himself, Judy Greer, Ryan Phillippe and Luis Guzmán. The movie follows a an aimless, jobless stoner/slacker who stumbles into a gig as a re-enactment tour guide in a historic, antebellum estate. The Long brothers have also written the screenplay and are producing the project with Joseph Restaino & Dori Rath (Pig, Albion: The Enchanted Stallion), Tony Stopperan and Nick Morgulis.

Craig Wedren (Role Models, Wet Hot American Summer, School of Rock, GLOW, How to Be a Latin Lover) & Anna Waronker (Shrill) are the composers of the new CW drama The Republic of Sarah. The show is created by Jeffrey Paul King and stars Stella Baker, Luke Mitchell, Hope Lauren, Nia Holloway, Ian Duff, Forrest Goodluck, Landry Bender, Izabella Alvarez and Megan Follows. The series centers on a rebellious high school history teacher who is faced with the destruction of her town at the hands of a mining company and utilizes an obscure cartographical loophole to declare independence.
Soundtrack Album for NBC’s ‘New Amsterdam’ to Be Released
Back Lot Music will release the first soundtrack album for the NBC drama New Amsterdam. The album features selections of the original music from the show composed by Craig Wedren (School of Rock, Role Models, GLOW, Fresh off the Boat, Wet Hot American Summer). The soundtrack will be released digitally tomorrow, March 2 and will be available to stream/download on Amazon and any other digital music services. New Amsterdam is created by David Schulner and stars Ryan Eggold, Janet Montgomery, Freema Agyeman, Jocko Sims, Tyler Labine and Anupam Kher. The series follows Dr. Max Goodwin, the new medical director at America’s oldest public hospital, as he is set on tearing down the bureaucracy to provide exceptional care.

Premiering on Friday, November 1, is the Netflix original movie American Son directed by Kenny Leon and starring Kerry Washington, Steven Pasquale, Jeremy Jordan and Eugene Lee. Lisbeth Scott (Caroline and Jackie, Tumble Leaf) has composed the film’s original music. The drama, which is based on Christopher Demos-Brown’s play about an interracial couple whose 19-year-old son may have died at the hands of police, premiered at this year’s Toronto Film Festival and will be available to stream exclusively on Netflix.

Craig Wedren (Wet Hot American Summer, Role Models, The School of Rock, How to Be a Latin Lover) is the composer of the upcoming HBO original series Mrs. Fletcher. The show is created by Tom Perrotta (The Leftovers) based on his bestselling novel of the same title and stars Kathryn Hahn, Jackson White, Owen Teague, Katie Kershaw, Domenick Lombardozzi, Cameron Boyce, Jen Richards and Casey Wilson. The comedy single mother rediscovers her sexuality after her son heads off to college. Perrotta is also executive producing the project with Helen Estabrook (Whiplash, Tully).
