Premiering on Friday, February 22 is the Netflix original movie Paddleton co-written and directed by Alex Lehmann and starring Mark Duplass, Ray Romano, Ravi Patel and Christine Woods. The film’s original music is composed by Julian Wass (Hit and Run, The Miseducation of Cameron Post, Room 104, Insatiable, The Overnight). Also premiering on Friday in the U.S. is the Spanish drama The Photographer of Mauthausen (El fotografo de Mauthausen) directed by Mar Targarona and starring Mario Casas, Richard van Weyden and Alain Hernández. Diego Navarro (Capture the Flag, Mimesis) has composed the film’s original music. Rosetta Records has released a soundtrack album last fall when the movie opened overseas. The movie, which follows a Catalán prisoner at a Nazi concentration camp who uses his office job to steal photo negatives of the atrocities committed there, will be available to stream stateside exclusively on Netflix.
Premiering in the U.S. on February 20 is the British crime drama The Frankenstein Chronicles created by Benjamin Ross & Barry Langford and starring Sean Bean, Tom Ward, Richie Campbell, Vanessa Kirby, Ed Stoppard and Ryan Sampson. Roger Goula (Next Goal Wins, Identicals) and Harry Escott (Shame, Hard Candy, Welcome to the Punch) have composed the show’s original music. The series’ first season premiered in the UK in 2015 and the second season last year on ITV. Both seasons of the drama will be available to stream in the U.S. on 
Expected to top the weekend box office is the action sequel Kingsman: The Golden Circle directed by Matthew Vaughn and starring Colin Firth, Julianne Moore, Taron Egerton, Mark Strong, Halle Berry, Sir Elton John, Channing Tatum and Jeff Bridges. The film’s original music is composed by Henry Jackman (Captain America: The Winter Soldier & Civil War, X-Men: First Class, Kong: Skull Island) & Matthew Margeson (Miss Peregrine’s Home for Peculiar Children, Eddie the Eagle). La-La Land Records has released a soundtrack album featuring the composers’ score. 
Also opening wide is the animated feature The LEGO Ninjago Movie directed by Charlie Bean and features the voices of Dave Franco, Justin Theroux, Fred Armisen, Abbi Jacobson, Olivia Munn, Kumail Nanjiani, Michael Peña, Zach Woods and Jackie Chan. Mark Mothersbaugh (The LEGO Movie, Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs, The Royal Tenenbaums, Thor: Ragnarok) has composed the film’s original music.
