Sony Classical will release the official soundtrack album for the animated feature The Mitchells vs. The Machines. The album features the film’s original music composed by Mark Mothersbaugh (Thor: Ragnarok, The LEGO Movie, Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs, The Royal Tenebaums, 21/22 Jump Street, Hotel Transylvania). Also included is the original song On My Way performed by Alex Lahey. The soundtrack will be released digitally this Friday, April 30 and will be available to stream/download on Amazon, where you can also check out audio samples. The Mitchells vs. The Machines is directed by Mike Rianda and features the voice talent of Abbi Jacobson, Danny McBride, Maya Rudolph, Eric André, Olivia Colman, Fred Armisen, Beck Bennett, John Legend, Chrissy Teigen, Rianda himself, Blake Griffin, Conan O’Brien and Charlyne Yi. Composer Howard Shore (The Lord of the Rings, The Silence of the Lambs, The Aviator, Hugo, The Hobbit) is set to reteam with David Cronenberg on the upcoming sci-fi thriller Crimes of the Future. The film is written and directed by Cronenberg and will star Viggo Mortensen, Léa Seydoux, Kristen Stewart, Scott Speedman, Welket Bungué, Don McKellar and Lihi Kornowski. The movie is set in the not-so-distant future where humankind is learning to adapt to its synthetic surroundings and follows a performance artist who has embraced “Accelerated Evolution Syndrome”, sprouting new and unexpected organs in his body and has turned the removal of these organs into a spectacle for his loyal followers. The full details of the second soundtrack album for Marvel’s Disney+ series The Falcon and the Winter Soldier have been revealed. The album features the original score from the last three episodes of the show composed by Henry Jackman (Captain America: The Winter Soldier & Civil War, X-Men: First Class, Wreck-It-Ralph, Big Hero 6, Jumanji: Welcome to the Jungle). Also included is Curtis Harding’s song On and On as featured in the final episode.
