WaterTower Music will release the first soundtrack album for DC Super Hero Girls. The album features the songs from the show’s first season performed by Dan Petty, Michelle Lewis & Kay Hanley, including the main title song Super Life. Also included are selections of the show’s original score composed by Michael Gatt (Braid, The Murder of Nicole Brown Simpson, Blood Drive) who also co-wrote several songs. The soundtrack will be released digitally this Friday, May 28 and will be available to stream/download on Amazon and any other major digital music stores. DC Super Hero Girls is developed by Lauren Faust based on the web series of the same title created by Shea Fontana, Lisa Yee & Aria Moffly and stars Grey Griffin, Tara Strong, Nicole Sullivan, Kimberly Brooks, Myrna Velasco and Kari Wahlgren. The full details of the second and third soundtrack albums for the Amazon limited series The Underground Railroad have been revealed. The Volume 2 & 3 albums feature more music from the show composed by Nicholas Britell (Succession, Moonlight, Cruella, If Beale Street Could Talk, The Big Short, Vice, Battle of the Sexes). The album features the movie’s original score composed by Australian singer/songwriter Isabella Manfredi (of the indie rock band The Preature) who made her film scoring debut on the project.
