Premiering on Thursday, June 3, is the British TV series We Are Lady Parts created by Nida Manzoor and starring Anjana Vasan, Sarah Kameela Impey, Faith Omole, Juliette Motamed, Lucie Shorthouse, Zaqi Ismail and Aiysha Hart. Manzoor also co-wrote the show’s original songs with Shez Manzoor, Sanya Manzoor and Benjamin Fregin. Back Lot Music has released a soundtrack EP featuring six songs from the show last week. Check out our soundtrack announcement for the full details and to learn more about the comedy, which premiered earlier this month in the UK on Channel 4 and will make its U.S. debut on Peacock.

Also premiering on Thursday is the second season of the Paramount+ original series Why Women Kill created by Marc Cherry and starring Allison Tolman, Nick Frost, Lana Parrilla, Jordane Christie, B.K. Cannon, Matthew Daddario and Veronica Falcón. Steve Jablonsky (Transformers, The Island, Pain & Gain, Deepwater Horizon, Skyscraper, Desperate Housewives, Ender’s Game)  has composed the original music of the new season. Soundtrack Album for HBO’s ‘Oslo’ Released

WaterTower Music has released a soundtrack album for the HBO original film Oslo. The album features the movie’s original music composed by Jeff Russo (Fargo, Star Trek: Discovery & Picard, The Night Of, The Umbrella Academy, Legion) &  Zoe Keating (Manhattan, The Returned). The soundtrack is now available to stream on all major digital music platforms, including Amazon. Oslo is written by J.T. Rogers based on his Tony Award-winning play of the same title and stars Ruth Wilson, Andrew Scott, Salim Dau, Jeff Wilbusch, Waleed Zuaiter, Igal Naor, Rotem Keinan, Dov Glickman, Itzik Cohen, Tobias Zilliacus and Sasson Gabai. The drama directed by Bartlett Sher follows the secret back-channel talks, unlikely friendships, and quiet heroics of a group of Israelis and Palestinians, plus one Norwegian couple, that led to the 1993 Oslo Peace Accords. Composer Jeff Grace (In a Valley of Violence, The House of the Devil, Certain Women, Meek’s Cutoff, Night Moves) is reuniting with writer/director Jim Mickle on the new Netflix original series Sweet Tooth. The show is developed by Mickle & Beth Schwartz based on the DC comic book series by Jeff Lemire and stars Christian Convery, Nonso Anozie, Adeel Akhtar, Stefania LaVie Owen, Aliza Vellani, Dania Ramirez, Neil Sandilands, Will Forte and James Brolin. The fantasy drama tells the story of a lovable boy who’s half-human and half-deer on an adventure across a post-apocalyptic world as he searches for a new beginning with a gruff protector. Opening in theaters nationwide today is the horror sequel A Quiet Place Part II written and directed by John Krasinski and stars Emily Blunt, Cillian Murphy, Millicent Simmonds, Noah Jupe and Djimon Hounsou. The film’s original music is composed by Marco Beltrami (Logan, 3:10 to Yuma, Scream, Ford v. Ferrari, World War Z, Hellboy). La-La Land Records and Paramount Music have released a soundtrack album featuring the composer’s score this week. Also opening wide (while also premiering on Disney+ with Premier Access for an additional fee) is the live-action comedy Cruella directed by Craig Gillespie and starring Emma Stone, Emma Thompson, Joel Fry, Paul Walter Hauser, Mark Strong. Emily Beecham and Kirby Howell-Baptiste. Nicholas Britell (Moonlight, Succession, The Big Short, If Beale Street Could Talk, Vice) has composed the film’s original score. Walt Disney Records has released two soundtrack albums featuring the composer’s score and the songs from the movie last Friday. WaterTower Music has released a new soundtrack album for the Netflix original series Lucifer. The album features the classic songs (including Another One Bites the Dust, Every Breath You Take, a mash up of Bad to the Bone/ No Scrubs, Wicked Game & more) from the special musical episode Bloody Celestial Karaoke Jam performed by cast members Tom Ellis, Kevin Alejandro, Aimee Garcia, Lesley-Ann Brandt, D.B. Woodside, Scarlett Estevez, Rachael Harris, Dennis Haysbert, and Debbie Gibson. All tracks are produced by series composers Jeff Russo & Ben Decter. The soundtrack is now available to stream on all major digital music services, including Amazon. The label has previously released a soundtrack featuring the musical performances from the show’s first five seasons last summer. The album features selections of the show’s original music composed by Matthew Herbert (A Fantastic Woman, Disobedience, Gloria Bell, Temple, The Cave, Noughts + Crosses). The soundtrack is now available to stream on all major digital music platforms, including Amazon. The Beast Must Die is developed by Gaby Chiappe based on the novel of the same title by Nicholas Blake and stars Jared Harris, Cush Jumbo OBE, Billy Howle, Nathaniel Parker and Geraldine James. Hollywood Records has released a digital version of the expanded soundtrack album for Walt Disney Pictures’ 1991 superhero movie The Rocketeer directed by Joe Johnston and starring Bill Campbell, Alan Arkin, Jennifer Connelly, Paul Sorvino and Timothy Dalton. The album features the newly remastered complete original score from the film composed and conducted by James Horner (Titanic, Avatar, Bravheart, Aliens, A Beautiful Mind, Apollo 13, Glory), as well as the content of the original 1991 soundtrack release.
