Cognitive Shift has released the cover version of the Irish ballad Grace from the British drama Ali & Ava. The track (originally written by Frank & Seán O’Meara) is performed by Karan Casey & the film’s composer Harry Escott (Shame, Roadkill, Hard Candy, Welcome to the Punch, The English Game) and is is now available to stream/download on all major digital music platforms, including Amazon. Also listen to the full song below. Ali & Ava is written and directed by Clio Barnard and stars Claire Rushbrook and Adeel Akhtar. The movie tells the love story between a British Pakistani working-class landlord who forges close bonds with his tenants and an Irish-born teacher and single mother of five. The drama is being released in UK theaters today and has been picked up by Greenwich Entertainment for a domestic release later this year.
