Intrada Records has announced a new soundtrack album for Tim Burton’s 1999 gothic horror movie Sleepy Hollow starring Johnny Depp, Christina Ricci, Miranda Richardson, Michael Gambon and Casper Van Dien. The show is based on the 1973 novel of the same title by Lois Duncan and stars Madison Iseman, Brianne Tju, Ashley Moore, Ezekiel Goodman, Sebastian Amoruso, Fiona Rene, Cassie Beck, Brooke Bloom and Bill Heck. The horror series is being described as a modern take of the 1997 film adaptation (scored by John Debney) and follows a group of teenagers who are stalked by a mysterious killer a year after a fatal accident on their graduation night. The full details of the soundtrack album for the biographical drama Respect have been announced. The album features the Aretha Franklin songs from the movie performed by lead actress Jennifer Hudson. Also included is the original song Here I Am (Singing My Way Home) co-written and performed by Hudson (already available to stream/download now). The soundtrack will be coming out digitally and physically (on CD and vinyl) on August 13 by Epic Records and is now available for pre-order in all formats on Amazon. The show is written and directed by Joseph Gordon-Levitt and stars himself, alongside Arturo Castro, Debra Winger, Bobby Hall a.k.a. Logic, Hector Hernandez, Juno Temple, Jamie Chung and Shannon Woodward. The comedy revolves around a man whose lifelong dream of a career in music didn’t pan out and finds himself teaching fifth grade at a school in the San Fernando Valley.
