Nathan Johnson (Knives Out, Brick, Looper, The Brothers Bloom, Kill the Messenger, Young Ones) is scoring the new Apple TV+ original series Mr. Corman. The show is written and directed by Joseph Gordon-Levitt and stars himself, alongside Arturo Castro, Debra Winger, Bobby Hall a.k.a. The comedy revolves around a man whose lifelong dream of a career in music didn’t pan out and finds himself teaching fifth grade at a school in the San Fernando Valley. Madison Gate Records has released a new soundtrack EP for the Netflix original series Cobra Kai. The 4-track EP features four extended versions of score cues from the show’s first and seasons composed by Leo Birenberg (Jurassic World: Camp Cretaceous, PEN15, Son of Zorn) & Zach Robinson (Impractical Jokers: The Movie, Die Hart). The tracks have previously only been released on Mondo’s 3-disc vinyl set, which was announced earlier this year.
