The album features the film’s original score composed by Ludvig Forssell (Death Stranding) and Yuta Bandoh (It Comes), as well as Taisei Iwasaki and Miho Hazama. Also included are the songs from the movie written by Iwasaki performed by Kaho Nakamura (who stars in the title role) & others. Disney+ announced today that composer Wendy Wang and ukulele player Jake Shimabukuro have created and recorded a new version of the Doogie Howser, M.D. theme (written by Mike Post) for the upcoming Disney+ original series Doogie Kamealoha, M.D.. The streamer also released the opening titles sequence featuring the song, which can be checked out after the jump. Doogie Kamealoha, M.D is created by Kourtney Kang (How I Met Your Mother) and stars Peyton Elizabeth Lee, Kathleen Rose Perkins, Jason Scott Lee, Matthew Sato, Wes Tian, Emma Meisel, Mapuana Makia and Jeffrey Bowyer-Chapman. Walt Disney Records has released a new soundtrack EP for the Disney+ animated shorts series The Wonderful World of Mickey Mouse. The 4-track EP features four new original songs from the show written by series composer Christopher Willis (The Death of Stalin, The Personal History of David Copperfield, Schmigadoon!). Three of the four tracks (As Long As I’m With You, Bubble Gum Day & Feelin’ the Love) are co-written by Elyse Willis. Epic Records will release a soundtrack album for the musical comedy Cinderella. The album features the songs from the movie performed by cast members Camila Cabello, Idina Menzel, Nicholas Galitzine, Billy Porter & others. Also included a score suite by composers Mychael Danna (Life of Pi, Moneyball, Onward) & Jessica Weiss (Dog Gone Trouble, Friendsgiving). The soundtrack will be released digitally and physically on September 3 and is now available for pre-order on Amazon. A first song (Galitzine’s cover of Queen’s Somebody to Love) will be released tomorrow (listen to the full track below). Mark Orton to Score Netflix’s ‘Love Hard’

Mark Orton (Nebraska, The Good Girl, The Last Shift, People Places Things) has been hired to score the upcoming Netflix original film Love Hard. The movie is directed by Hernán Jiménez and stars Nina Dobrev, Jimmy O. Yang, Darren Barnet. Harry Shum Jr., Mikaela Hoover, James Saito and Heather McMahan. The romantic comedy revolves around an LA girl, unlucky in love, who falls for an East Coast guy on a dating app and decides to surprise him for Christmas, only to discover that she’s been catfished. Danny Mackey and Rebecca Ewing wrote the screenplay. Batu Sener Scoring Disney+’s ‘Ice Age: Adventures of Buck Wild’

Batu Sener is currently recording his score for the upcoming animated feature Ice Age: Adventures of Buck Wild. The film stars Simon Pegg as the voice of the title character (who appeared in the Ice Age features Dawn of the Dinosaurs, Continental Drift and Collision Course) and follows Buck Wild as he goes go on a new adventure in the Dinosaur World, alongside Crash and Eddie. No other casting announcements have been made yet for the 20th Century Animation production. Sener has previously contributed additional music to several scores by composer John Powell, including How to Train Your Dragon: The Hidden World, The Call of the Wild and Solo: A Star Wars Story. Powell has scored the second, third and fourth installment in the Ice Age feature series, while David Newman scored the original 2002 film and John Debney composed the music for the fifth installment.
