Premiering today is the Starz limited series Gaslit created by Robbie Pickering based on the first season of the Slow Burn podcast and starring Julia Roberts, Sean Penn, Dan Stevens, Shea Whigham, Betty Gilpin and Darby Camp. The show’s original music is composed by Mac Quayle (Mr. Robot, Feud: Bette and Joan, American Horror Story, American Crime Story, The Politician, Ratched). Also premiering today is the Showtime original series The Man Who Fell to Earth developed by Alex Kurtzman & Jenny Lumet based on the Walter Tevis novel and the 1976 film of the same name and starring Chiwetel Ejiofor, Naomie Harris, Jimmy Simpson, Rob Delaney, Sonya Cassidy, Joana Ribeiro, Clarke Peters, Annelle Olaleye, Kate Mulgrew and Bill Nighy. Jeff Russo (Fargo, Star Trek: Discovery & Picard, Legion, The Night Of, Lucy in the Sky, The Umbrella Academy) is composing the show’s original music. Arthur Sharpe (Guilt, The Electrical Life of Louis Wain, Ghosts, Flowers, The Darkest Universe) has won his first BAFTA TV Craft Award for his music from the HBO/Sky series Landscapers starring Olivia Colman & David Thewlis at tonight’s awards ceremony at The Brewery in London. Paul Haslinger (Underworld, Halt and Catch Fire, Crank, Monster Hunter, Death Race, Resident Evil: The Final Chapter) has composed the original music for the upcoming documentary The YouTube Effect. The film is directed by Alex Winter (Freaked, Zappa, The Panama Papers) and explores the ascension and potential fall of YouTube, the world’s most popular video-sharing website, and the unforeseen privacy and ethical problems that it created. Bear McCreary (Godzilla: King of the Monsters, Outlander, 10 Cloverfield Lane, Battlestar Galactica, Child’s Play, Happy Death Day) has composed a theme for the upcoming mystery thriller Last Seen Alive. Sam Ewing (The Walking Dead, The Shed, Victor Crawley) has written the score for the film directed by Brian Goodman (What Doesn’t Kill You, Black Butterfly) and starring Gerard Butler, Jaimie Alexander, Russell Hornsby, Ethan Embry, Michael Irby, Cindy Hogan and Bruce Altman. The movie centers on a man whose desperate search to find his wife who suddenly vanished at a gas station leads him down a path that forces him to run from authorities and take the law into his own hands. Opening in theaters nationwide is the animated feature The Bad Guys directed by Pierre Perifel and starring Sam Rockwell, Marc Maron, Anthony Ramos, Awkwafina, Craig Robinson, Zazie Beetz, Lilly Singh, Richard Ayoade  and Alex Borstein. The film’s original music is composed by Daniel Pemberton (Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse, The Trial of the Chicago 7, Birds of Prey, The Man from U.N.C.L.E., Enola Holmes, Being the Ricardos, King Arthur: Legend of the Sword, Steve Jobs). Back Lot Music has released a soundtrack album featuring the composer’s score, as well as songs by performed by Ramos, The Heavy and Elle King. Also opening nationwide is the historical fantasy epic The Northman co-written and directed by Robert Eggers and starring Alexander Skarsgård, Nicole Kidman, Anya Taylor-Joy, Claes Bang, Ethan Hawke, Gustav Lindh, Björk and Willem Dafoe. Kris Bowers (Bridgerton, Green Book,  Space Jam: A New Legacy, Mrs. America, Inventing Anna, Dear White People, When They See Us) has recently scored the new HBO limited series We Own This City. The show is developed by George Pelecanos & David Simon (The Wire, Treme, The Deuce) and stars Jon Bernthal, Wunmi Mosaku, Jamie Hector, Josh Charles, McKinley Belcher III, Dagmara Domińczyk, Don Harvey, Rob Brown, David Corenswet, Ian Duff, Larry Mitchell and Lucas Van Enge. The 6-part drama is directed by Reinaldo Marcus Green and chronicles the rise and fall of the Baltimore Police Department’s Gun Trace Task Force and the corruption and moral collapse that befell an American city in which the policies of drug prohibition and mass arrest were championed at the expense of actual police work. Natalie Holt (Loki, Knightfall, Journey’s End, Herself, Fever Dream, Beecham House, Press) has composed the original score for the upcoming Disney+ original series Obi-Wan Kenobi. The show is directed by Deborah Chow and stars Ewan McGregor Hayden Christensen, Moses Ingram, Joel Edgerton, Kumail Nanjiani, Bonnie Piesse, Indira Varma, O’Shea Jackson Jr., Rupert Friend, Sung Kang, Simone Kessell and Benny Safdie. The drama takes place 10 years after the events of Star Wars: Revenge of the Sith where Obi-Wan faced the downfall and corruption of his best friend and Jedi apprentice, Anakin Skywalker, who turned to the dark side as evil Sith Lord Darth Vader. ‘Charlotte’ Soundtrack Album Released

Milan Records has released a soundtrack album for the animated feature Charlotte. The album features the film’s original music composed and conducted by Michelino Bisceglia (Hannah, Thieves of the Wood, In the Name of the Son, Valentino, Mixed Kebab). The soundtrack is now available to stream/download on Amazon and any other major digital music services. Charlotte is directed by Eric Warin & Tahir Rana and features the voice talent of Keira Knightley, Brenda Bleythyn, Jim Broadbent, Sam Claflin, Helen McCrory, Eddie Marsan, Sophie Okonedo and Mark Strong. The movie tells the true story of Charlotte Salomon, a young German-Jewish painter who comes of age in Berlin on the eve of the Second World War and dreams of becoming an artist. Music from Disneyland’s Avengers Campus Released

Hollywood Records & Marvel Music have released music written for the Avengers Campus, which opened last year at Disney California Adventure. The music is arranged and produced by John Paesano (Daredevil, Spider-Man: Miles Morales, The Maze Runner, Penny Dreadful: City of Angels, Invincible, Diary of a Wimpy Kid) who combined themes from the films of the Marvel Cinematic Universe (including Alan Silvestri’s Avengers theme, Michael Giacchino’s Spider-Man & Doctor Strange themes, Tyler Bates’ Guardians of the Galaxy theme, Christophe Beck’s Ant-Man theme, Pinar Toprak’s Captain Marvel theme and Ludwig Göransson’s Black Panther theme) to play as visitors move throughout the the different sections of the park. The 12-minute track, entitled Welcome Recruits, is now available to stream/download on all major digital music platforms, including Amazon. Also listen to the full track below.
