First Soundtrack Album for Marvel’s Disney+ Series ‘What If…?’ to Be Released

The album features the original music from the show’s first episode (What If…Captain Carter Were The First Avenger?) composed by Emmy Award winner Laura Karpman (Lovecraft Country, Set It Up, Paris Can Wait, Why We Hate, Step, Underground). Republic Records will release the official soundtrack album for the drama CODA. The album features the film’s original music composed Marius de Vries (Kick-Ass, Sucker Punch, Strange Magic, Teen Spirit, Easy Virtue) and produced by himself and Nicholai Baxter. Director Matthias Schweighöfer has announced that Hans Zimmer (The Dark Knight, Gladiator, Inception, The Lion King) and Steve Mazzaro (The Boss Baby, The Rhythm Section) will score the upcoming Netflix original film Army of Thieves. The prequel to Zack Snyder’s Army of the Dead (scored by Tom Holkenborg) stars Schweighöfer himself, Nathalie Emmanuel, Guz Khan, Ruby O. Fee, Stuart Martin, Jonathan Cohen, Noemie Nakai and Peter Simonischek.
