Back Lot Music has released the first soundtrack album for the Peacock original late-night series The Amber Ruffin Show. The album features a selection of the songs from the show performed by Ruffin written by herself, David Allen Schmoll, Jenny Hagel, Dewayne Perkins, Shantira Jackson, among others and performed by Ruffin. The soundtrack is now available to stream/download here, where you can also check out audio samples. The Amber Ruffin Show showcases Amber’s signature smart and silly take on the week’s news. The Universal Television production executive produced by Ruffin, Jenny Hagel, Seth Meyers & Mike Shoemaker premiered last fall and is currently available to stream on Peacock and also airs every Friday night on NBC. Synth-pop duo Electric Youth has signed to score the upcoming drama North of Normal. The film is directed by Carly Stone (The New Romantic) and stars Sarah Gadon, Robert Carlyle, James D’Arcy, Amanda Fix, Benedict Samuel and Janet Porter. The movie is based on the best-selling memoir of the same title written by Cea Sunrise Person and revolves around a teenage girl raised in the wilderness who moves to the city hoping for a normal life with her anything but normal mother. La-La Land Records has announced the details of the second volume collection of original music from the 60s sci-fi series The Time Tunnel created by Irwin Allen and starring James Darren, Robert Colbert, John Zaremba, Whit Bissell and Lee Meriwether. The album features music from the show composed by John Williams (as Johnny Williams) (Star Wars, Raiders of the Lost Ark), Leith Stevens (The War of the Worlds, When Worlds Collide), Joseph Mullendore (Lost in Space, Land of the Giants), Paul Sawtell (Voyage to the Bottom of the SeaJack the Giant Killer), Robert Drasnin (Mission: ImpossibleLost in Space) and George Duning (3:10 to Yuma, Star Trek: The Original Series). ‘Zana’ Soundtrack Released

MovieScore Media has released a soundtrack album for the Kosovan drama Zana. The album features the film’s original music composed by Dritero Nikqi. Also included is Andrra’s theme song Zana’s Lullaby, which has previously been released a digital single. The soundtrack is now available to stream/download here, where you can also check out audio samples. Zana is co-written and directed by Antoneta Kastrati and stars Adriana Matoshi, Astrit Kabashi and Fatmire Sahiti. La-La Land Records has announced a new soundtrack album for the 1982 sci-fi movie Star Trek II: The Wrath of Khan directed by Nicholas Meyer and starring William Shatner, Leonard Nimoy and DeForest Kelley. The album features the remastered original music from the Paramount Pictures production composed and conducted by Academy Award winner James Horner (Titanic, Avatar, Braveheart, A Beautiful Mind, Apollo 13, Glory, Aliens), as well as previously unreleased alternate tracks. The 2-CD includes the score presentation on the first disc and the remastered 1982 soundtrack album, as well as alternate tracks on the second disc. Sacred Bones Records will release the official soundtrack album for the horror sequel Halloween Kills. The album features the film’s original music composed by John Carpenter, Cody Carpenter & Daniel Davies who previously co-scored Blumhouse’s 2018 Halloween film. The film is directed by Alejandro Monteverde (Little Boy, Sound of Freedom) and stars Christiana Dell’Anna, Montserrat Espadalé, Romana Maggiora Vergano, David Morse, Patch Darragh, John Lithgow, Jeremy Bobb, Andrew Polk, Giampiero Judica and Rolando Villazó. The movie tells the story of one of the greatest entrepreneurs of the 19th Century who started with nothing and created the largest multinational charitable empire the world had ever known.
