Hollywood Records will release a soundtrack album for the new Hulu original series Only Murders in the Building. The album features selections of the original score from the show composed by Emmy Award nominee Siddhartha Khosla (This Is Us, Runaways, Looking for Alasksa, Queenpins, Love, Victor). The soundtrack will be released digitally tomorrow, August 27 and will be available to stream/download on Amazon and any other major digital music stores. Only Murders in the Building is created by Steve Martin & John Hoffman and stars Martin himself, Martin Short, Selena Gomez, Aaron Dominguez and Amy Ryan. The murder mystery comedy executive produced by Dan Fogelman follows three strangers who share an obsession with true crime and suddenly find themselves wrapped up in one when a grisly death occurs inside their exclusive Upper West Side apartment building. The full details of the soundtrack album for the Candyman reboot have been revealed. The album features the film’s original music composed by Robert Aiki Aubrey Lowe. The soundtrack will be released digitally this Friday, August 27 by Waxwork Records and is now available for pre-order on Amazon. A vinyl and CD version will be available to order on the label’s website on the same day. A first track from the score (Rows and Towers) has previously been released last week and a second track (The Sweet) is now available to stream/download here. Candyman is co-written and directed by Nia DaCosta and stars Yahya Abdul-Mateen II, Teyonah Parris, Nathan Stewart-Jarrett and Colman Domingo.
