The album features the film’s original music composed by Emmy Award winner Jeff Beal (House of Cards, Carnivale, Rome, Pollock, Monk, The Biggest Little Farm, Blackfish, Appaloosa). The film is written and directed by Rodrigo García (Albert Nobbs, In Treatment) and stars Ewan McGregor, Ethan Hawke, Maribel Verdú, Maxim Swinton and Sophie Okonedo. The movie follows two half-brothers who have lived in the shadow of a terrible father when they get a chance to reinvent themselves at his funeral.

Edward Shearmur Scoring Rodrigo Garcia’s ‘Four Good Days’
Composer Edward Shearmur (Sky Captain and the World of Tomorrow, Charlie’s Angels, Escape at Dannemora, Cruel Intentions, Johnny English) is reuniting with director Rodrigo Garcia on the upcoming drama Four Good Days. The film starring Glenn Close, Mila Kunis, Stephen Root and Joshua Leonard follows a mother who helps her daughter work through four crucial days of recovery from substance abuse. Garcia (Albert Nobbs) also co-wrote the screenplay with Eli Saslow and is producing the project with Jon Avnet (Fried Green Tomatoes, Up, Close and Personal), Marina Grasic (Welcome to Me), Jake Avnet and Jai Khann (The Black Prince).

Last Days in the Desert is written and directed by Rodrigo Garcia and stars Ewan McGregor, Tye Sheridan, Ciaran Hinds and Ayelet Zurer. The movie follows a holy man and a demon on a journey through the desert who encounters a family struggling to survive, which forces him to confront his own fate.
Brian Byrne Scoring ‘Albert Nobbs’
Brian Byrne is scoring the upcoming drama Albert Nobbs. The movie stars Glenn Close as a woman who must pass as a man to survive life in 19th century Ireland. Close also co-wrote the script based on a short story by Irish author George Moore and makes her feature producing debut on the project. Mia Wasikowska, Aaron Johnson, Janet McTeer, Brendan Gleeson and Jonathan Rhys Meyers are co-starring. The film is directed by Rodrigo Garcia who has worked with composer Edward Shearmur on most of his previous features, including Mother and Child and Passengers.
