Hippocampus has released a soundtrack EP for the drama The Dam. The 6-track EP features the film’s original music composed by Rob (aka Robin Coudert) (ManiacGretel & Hansel, Horns, Revenge, Oxygen, Troy: Fall of a City, Planetarium). The soundtrack is now available to stream/download on Amazon and any other major digital music services. The Dam is co-written and directed by Ali Cherri and stars Maher El Khair. The movie is set against the backdrop of the 2018 Sudanese revolution and revolves around a man who works in a traditional brickyard fed by the waters of the Nile and regularly wanders off into the desert to build a mysterious construction made of mud. The drama is premiering today at Cannes Directors’ Fortnight. No word yet on a release date.
