Dubois Records has released the first soundtrack album for the BBC series Baptiste. The album features selections of the show’s original music composed by Emmy Award nominee Dominik Scherrer (The Missing, The Serpent, Primeval, The Widow, Ripper Street, Requiem). The soundtrack is now available to stream/download on all major digital music platforms, including Amazon. Baptiste is created by Harry & Jack Williams and stars Tchéky Karyo, Anastasia Hille, Tom Hollander, Jessica Raine, Fiona Shaw, Miklós Béres, Stuart Campbell, Conrad Khan, Dorka Gryllus, Adrian Rawlins, Clare Calbraith and Trystan Gravelle. Paramount+ has released the opening titles sequence for the upcoming animated series Star Trek: Prodigy. Academy Award winner Michael Giacchino (Up, Lost, The Incredibles, Jurassic World, Inside Out, Ratatouille, Dawn of the Planet of the Apes) who previously scored the last three Star Trek features (Star Trek, Star Trek Into Darkness and Star Trek Beyond) has composed the main title theme. Walt Disney Records will release a soundtrack album for Pixar Animation Studios’ Disney+ original animated shorts series Dug Days. The album features the original music from the five shorts composed by Andrea Datzman (Alcatraz, Undercovers) and Curtis Green . The soundtrack will be released digitally tomorrow, September 1 and will be available to stream/download here. Dug Days is written and directed by Bob Peterson and follows the misadventures of Dug, the lovable dog from the Disney/Pixar feature Up (scored by Michael Giacchino whose Academy Award-winning music is referenced in Datzman’s & Green’s score), whose high-tech collar translates his thoughts into speech. The soundtrack will be released digitally this Wednesday, September 1 and will be available to stream/download on Amazon and any other major digital music services. The film marks the feature directorial debut of Christian Long & Justin Long and stars Melanie Lynskey, Justin Long himself, Judy Greer, Ryan Phillippe and Luis Guzmán. The movie follows a an aimless, jobless stoner/slacker who stumbles into a gig as a re-enactment tour guide in a historic, antebellum estate.
