HBO Max and Cartoon Network announced today that Tony Award winner Tom Kitt (Next to Normal, Freaky Friday, Bring It On, If/Then, High Fidelity) will compose the music for the animated movie event Bye Bye Bunny: A Looney Tunes Musical. The Warner Bros. Animation production follows an exhausted Bugs Bunny who – after starring in a long-running Looney Tunes Broadway smash production – decides it’s time to trade in sold-out shows for life as a regular rabbit, as Daffy Duck attempts to step into the lead role. The full details of the soundtrack album for Pixar Animation Studios’ feature Lightyear have been revealed.
