Holiday Haunt have been taking place this weekend at the Eastwood Scoring Stage at Warner Bros. Studios in Burbank, CA, following the cancelation of the movie earlier this week by Warner Bros. Discovery. Premiering on Wednesday, August 10, is the Disney+ animated shorts series I Am Groot written and directed by Kirsten Lepore and starring Vin Diesel. Hollywood Records & Marvel Music have released a digital single featuring the composer’s score this past Friday. Opening in theaters nationwide this weekend is the action comedy Bullet Train directed by David Leitch and starring Brad Pitt, Joey King, Aaron Taylor-Johnson, Sandra Bullock, Andrew Koji, Brian Tyree Henry and Michael Shannon. The film’s original score is composed by Dominic Lewis (The Man in the High Castle, Peter Rabbit, Money Monster, The King’s Man) who also co-wrote and produced several of the songs from the movie. Milan Records has released a soundtrack album featuring the composer’s score today (click here for the full album details) and Arista Records has released a separate soundtrack featuring the songs from the Sony Pictures production (click here for more information).
Also opening wide is the comedy Easter Sunday directed by Jay Chandrasekhar and starring Jo Koy, Jimmy O. Yang, Tia Carrere, Eva Noblezada, Brandon Wardell, Tiffany Haddish and Lou Diamond Phillips.
