Premiering tonight is the HBO original series House of the Dragon created by George R.R. Martin & Ryan Condal and starring Paddy Considine, Matt Smith, Olivia Cooke, Steve Toussaint, Emma D’Arcy, Eve Best and Rhys Ifans. The show’s original music is composed by Ramin Djawadi (Game of Thrones, Iron Man, Westworld, Eternals, Pacific Rim, Uncharted). WaterTower Music has released a first track from the composer’s score this past Thursday. Click here to listen to the track and to learn more about the fantasy drama, which will air Sundays on HBO and will also be available to stream on HBO Max.

Premiering in the U.S. tomorrow, August 22, is the British miniseries Anne written by Kevin Sampson and starring Maxine Peake, Stephen Walters, Lily Shepherd, Steve Williams, Bobby Schofield and Clare Calbraith. Samuel Sim (The Dark Crystal: Age of Resistance, Domina, The Spanish Princess, The Halcyon, Home Fires) has composed the show’s original music. ‘Fisherman’s Friends: One and All’ Score Album Released

Universal Music’s Globe has released a score album for the British comedy sequel Fisherman’s Friends: One and All. The album features the film’s original score composed by Rupert Christie. The soundtrack is now available to stream/download here, where you can also check out audio samples. As previously reported, Island Records has released a separate soundtrack featuring the songs from the movie. Universal Music has previously released Christie’s score from the 2019 original film. Fisherman’s Friends: One and All is is directed by Nick Moorcroft & Meg Leonard and stars James Purefoy, Dave Johns, Maggie Steed, Sam Swainsbury, David Hayman Richard Harrington, Ramon Tikaram, Jade Anouka, Joshua Mcguire and Imelda May. ‘I Love My Dad’ Soundtrack Released

Saltwater Music has released a soundtrack album for the comedy I Love My Dad. The album features the film’s original score composed by Jeremy W. Bullock (7 Days Out, Chasing the Blues, Bombshell: TheHedy Lamarr Story). The soundtrack is now available to stream on Amazon and any other major digital music services. I Love My Dad is written and directed by James Morosini and stars Patton Oswalt, Morosini himself, Claudia Sulewski, Lil Rel Howery, Ricky Velez, Amy Landecker and Rachel Dratch. The movie follows an estranged father who impersonates a waitress online in a desperate attempt to reconnect with his son, inadvertently catfishing him in the process as he begins to fall for this imaginary girl. Opening in theaters nationwide this weekend is the survival thriller Beast directed by Baltasar Kormákur and starring Idris Elba, Sharlto Copley, Leah Sava Jeffries and Iyana Halley. The film’s original music is composed by Steven Price (Gravity, Our Planet, Last Night in Soho, Baby Driver, Suicide Squad, Fury). Back Lot Music has released a soundtrack album featuring the composer’s score and an original song by Sona Jobarteh last Friday. Also opening wide is the anime feature Dragon Ball Super: Super Hero directed by Tetsuro Kodama and produced by Toei Animation. Naoki Sato (Space Battleship Yamato, Pretty Cure, Blood-Z, Sword of the Stranger) has composed the film’s original music. A soundtrack album featuring the composer’s score was released earlier this year when the movie opened in Japan. The full details of the latest soundtrack album for the Paramount+ original series Star Trek: Discovery have been revealed. The album features selections of the original music from the show’s fourth season composed by Emmy Award winner Jeff Russo (Fargo, Legion, The Night Of, Star Trek: Picard, The Umbrella Academy, Lucy in the Sky). Also included is Annabelle Wallis’ rendition of the Harold Arlen- & Ted Koehler-penned song Stormy Weather. The soundtrack will be released digitally next Friday, August 26 by Lakeshore Records and will be available to stream/download on Amazon and any other major digital music services. Also included are tracks performed by Gustavo Pomeranec, Mariano Statello and Ute Lemper.
