Over the last few weeks, Eastern Glow Recordings has released three soundtrack album for the PBS original documentary series A Town Called Victoria. The albums features the show’s original music composed by The Album Leaf (aka Jimmy LaValle) (SynchronicThe Endless, Something in the Dirt, Spring, The F**k-It List, 3022). Sony Classical will release the official score album for the action comedy Bad Boys: Ride or Die. The album features the original score from the fourth installment in the Bad Boys film series composed by Lorne Balfe (Mission: Impossible – Fallout & Dead Reckoning, His Dark Materials, Black Widow, Top Gun: Maverick, The Wheel of Time, Dungeons & Dragons: Honor Among Thieves, The LEGO Batman Movie) who previously composed the music for 2020’s Bad Boys for Life. The soundtrack will be released digitally on June 7 and is now available for pre-order on Amazon. The composer’s title track, which incorporates Mark Mancina’s theme from 1995 original movie, is already to stream/download available now and can also be checked out below. As previously reported, Epic Records will release a separate soundtrack featuring the songs from the movie. The film is directed by Thordur Palsson (The Valhalla Murders) and stars Odessa Young and Joe Cole. The movie is set in the 19th century and follows a young widow who faces an impossible choice when a ship sinks off the coast of her isolated fishing village and must decide whether to rescue the shipwrecked sailors or let them perish to ensure their own survival. The film starring Awkwafina, John Cena, Ayden Mayeri, Donald Elise Watkins, Murray Hill, Sam Asghari & Simu Liu is set in the near future, when a “Grand Lottery” has been newly established in California, with a catch: kill the winner before sundown to legally claim their multi-billion dollar jackpot. Not a Movie. A Play. The film is directed by Jeremy O. Harris and follows the playwright as he deconstructs his Tony-nominated play Slave Play, which revolves around three interracial couples who undergo “Antebellum Sexual Performance Therapy” when the black partners no longer feel sexual attraction to their white partners.

Variety is reporting that Moby is set to score the upcoming romance Tecie. He is also writing the screenplay for the film, which will be directed by actor Mark Webber (who previously helmed several features, including 2019’s The Place of No Words) and is set in the Los Angeles animal rights and activism scene.
