John Paesano (The Maze Runner, Daredevil, Spider-Man: Miles Morales, Penny Dreadful: City of Angels, Cheaper by the Dozen) is returning as the composer of the upcoming Disney+ animated movie Diary of a Wimpy Kid: Rodrick Rules. The film is directed by Luke Cormican and features the voices of Brady Noon, Ethan William Childress, Chris Diamantopoulos, Edward Asner, Erica Cerra and Hunter Dillon. WaterTower Music has released a choral version of the main title theme from the Netflix original series The Sandman. The track written by the show’s composer David Buckley (The Good Wife, Papillon, Nobody, Evil, The Forbidden Kingdom) and performed by the Estonian Philharmonic Chamber Choir is now available to stream/download on all major digital music services, including Amazon. Opening in theaters nationwide this weekend while also premiering on Peacock today is the slasher sequel Halloween Ends directed by David Gordon Green and starring Jamie Lee Curtis, Andi Matichak, Rohan Campbell, Kyle Richards and James Jude Courtney. The film’s original music is composed by John Carpenter, Cody Carpenter & Daniel Davies (Firestarter) who previously scored 2018’s Halloween and last year’s Halloween Kills. Sacred Bones Records has released a soundtrack album featuring the composers’ score today.
