Waxwork Records has released a soundtrack album for the psychological horror thriller Master. The album features the film’s original music composed by Robert Aiki Aubrey Lowe (Candyman). The soundtrack is now available to stream/download on Amazon and any other major digital music services. Master is written and directed by Mariama Diallo and stars Regina Hall, Zoe Renee, Talia Ryder, Amber Gray and Talia Balsam. The movie follows three women who strive to find their place at an elite Northeastern university built on the site of a Salem-era gallows hill and – when anonymous racist attacks target a Black freshman – must determine where the real menace lies. Gaumont Animation has released a soundtrack album for the French animated series Bionic Max. The album features selections of the show’s original music composed by Maxime Singer & Anthony Burlot. The soundtrack is now available to stream/download here, where you can also check out audio samples. Bionic Max is created by Thomas Digard & Emmanuel Klotz and follows a malfunctioning bionic guinea pig and his goldfish buddy who escape from their laboratory and have to try to fit in with the local wildlife. The show is developed by Howard Gordon based on the BBC series created by Jimmy McGovern and stars Michael Chiklis, Abigail Breslin, Margo Martindale, Whitney Cummings, Malcolm-Jamal Warner, Rachel Bilson, Wendell Pierce, Jack Davenport, Molly Parker, Betsy Brandt, Rhea Perlman, Keith Carradine, Aisha Dee and Jason Ritter. The film is directed by Camille Delamarre (Brick Mansions) and stars Henry Golding, Noomi Rapace, Sam Neill, Jimmy-Jean Louis and Daniela Melchior. The movie follows one of the world’s best contract killers who is hired to kill six people around the world, but soon discovers all the targets are also assassins unknowingly hired to kill each other. Music Box Records has announced a soundtrack album for the animated feature Argonuts (Pattie et la colère de Poséidon). The album features the film’s original music composed and orchestrated by Olivier Cussac (Terra WillyThe Jungle Bunch, Pil) and performed by the Orchestre National d’Île-de-France conducted by Dirk Brossé. The CD version is now available to order on the label’s official website, where you can also check out the track list and listen to audio samples. A digital version will be released this Friday, January 20 (click here to stream/download). Argonuts is directed by David Alaux and tells the story of a young super smart and adventurous mouse who sets off to fight the most dangerous and bizarre creatures in Ancient Greece, including Poseidon himself. Disney+ has announced Voices Rising: The Music of Wakanda Forever, a new documentary series focusing on the music from Marvel Studios’ Black Panther: Wakanda Forever. The show centers on the songs and score from the movie and features interview with director Ryan Coogler, composer Ludwig Göransson, among others. Check out the series’ trailer after the jump.
