Opening in theaters nationwide this weekend is the action thriller John Wick: Chapter 4 directed by Chad Stahelski and starring Keanu Reeves, Donnie Yen, Rina Sawayama, Bill Skarsgård, Shamier Anderson, Lance Reddick, Laurence Fishburne and Ian McShane. The film’s original score is composed by Tyler Bates (Guardians of the Galaxy, 300, Deadpool 2, Watchmen) & Joel J. Richard (Quantico, Books of Blood). Lakeshore Records has released a soundtrack album featuring the composers’ score, as well as two original songs by Sawayama and In This Moment & more. Opening semi-wide in around 750 theaters is the British comedy drama The Lost King directed by Stephen Frears and starring Sally Hawkins, Steve Coogan, Mark Addy and Harry Lloyd. Alexandre Desplat (The Shape of Water, Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows, The Queen, The Grand Budapest Hotel, The Queen) has composed the film’s original music. Lakeshore Records has released a soundtrack album featuring the composer’s score last fall when the movie opened in the UK. ‘1 Night’ Soundtrack Album Released

Sean Giddings has released the first-ever soundtrack album for the 2016 romantic drama 1 Night written and directed by Minhal Baig and starring Anna Camp, Justin Chatwin, Isabelle Fuhrman and Kyle Allen. The album features the composer’s original score from the film and is now available to stream/download on Amazon and any other major digital music services. 1 Night tells the intertwining stories of a thirty-something woman who must decide whether to salvage a disappointing relationship and a worrisome teenager who reconnects with her introverted childhood friend at their high school prom. Ryuichi Sakamoto’s ‘Travesía’ Album Announced

Milan Records has announced Travesía, a new album featuring music by composer Ryuichi Sakamoto (The Last Emperor, Merry Christmas Mr. Lawrence, Little Buddha, Femme Fatale, Snake Eyes), curated by five-time Academy Award-winning filmmaker Alejandro G. Iñárritu (Birdman, Babel, 21 Grams, Amores Perros, Bardo, Biutiful). The album features twenty tracks handpicked by Iñárritu, including selections of the Sakamoto’s solo work such as Thousand Knives, the title track of the musician’s 1978 debut album. Also included is a new, never-before-heard mix of The Revenant Main Theme (written for Iñárritu’s 2015 feature) by Sakamoto’s long-time collaborator Alva Noto. Leonardo Heiblum & Jacobo Lieberman (Maria Full of Grace, Prayers for the Stolen, The Silence of Others, I Am Vanessa Guillen) have teamed up to compose the original music for the upcoming shark thriller The Black Demon. The film is directed by Adrian Grunberg (Rambo: Last Blood, Get the Gringo) and stars Josh Lucas, Fernanda Urrejola, Venus Ariel, Julio Cesar Cedillo and Carlos Solórzano. The movie follows a family whose idyllic vacation turns into a nightmare when they encounter a ferocious megalodon shark that will stop at nothing to protect its territory. Hollywood Records has released the first track from the soundtrack for the biographical drama Chevalier. Available to stream/download now on all major digital music services is Violin Concerto in G Major, Op. 8, No. 2: I. Allegro written by Joseph Bologne, Chevalier de Saint-Georges, arranged by the film’s composer Kris Bowers (Bridgerton, King Richard, Green Book) and performed by Bowers, the London Contemporary Orchestra and violinist Randall Goosby. Listen to the track after the jump. New Soundtrack Album for ITV’s ‘Endeavour’ Released

Redrocca has released a new soundtrack album for the ITV drama Endeavour. The album features newly recorded variations written by the show’s composer Matthew Slater (Grace) and performed by the London Metropolitan Orchestra. Also included is Barrington Pheloung’s Theme from Inspector Morse (listen to the track below). Endeavour Variations is now available to stream/download on Amazon and any other major digital music services. A physical release is also expected. Sony Classical has previously released a soundtrack featuring Pheloung’s main theme and several classical pieces from the drama’s first seasons. The full details of the second soundtrack album for the Cartoon Network animated series Teen Titans have been revealed. The album features more music composed by Michael McCuistion, Lolita Ritmanis, Kristopher Carter (aka Dynamic Music Partners) (Young Justice, Batman: The Animated Series, Justice League, Avengers Assemble, Batman: The Brave and the Bold). The soundtrack will be released digitally this Friday, March 24 by Dynamic Soundtrack Records and will be available to stream/download here, where you can also check out audio samples. ‘Unstable’ Soundtrack Album Details

Netflix Music will release a soundtrack album for the streamer’s original series Unstable. The album features selections of the original music from the show’s first season composed by Mark Foster (of the indie pop band Foster the People) and Sven Faulconer (Scream VI, Blood Father, The Elephant Whisperers, The Last Ice). The soundtrack will be released digitally tomorrow, March 24 and will be available to stream/download on all major digital music services, including Amazon. Unstable is created by Rob Lowe, John Owen Lowe & Victor Fresco and stars the Lowes themselves, Sian Clifford, Emma Ferreira and Aaron Branch. The comedy revolves around a universally admired, eccentric, narcissist-adjacent biotech entrepreneur as he tries to bounce back from the depths of grief with help from his son who works to escape his father’s shadow and save the family business. Mercury Classics will release a second soundtrack album for Zach Braff’s drama A Good Person. The album features the songs from the movie, including two tracks performed by lead actress Florence Pugh (as her character Allison), The Velvet Underground’s After Hours, Angelo De Augustine’s Time, Odessa’s Wake Up With the Sun, Lizzy McAlpine’s To the Mountains, Leona Naess’ On My Mind, Fenne Lily’s Hypochondriac & more. The soundtrack will be released digitally tomorrow, March 24.
