Premiering on Wednesday, April 26, is the Hulu original series Saint X developed by Leila Gerstein based on the novel by Alexis Schaitkin and starring Alycia Debnam-Carey, Josh Bonzie, West Duchovny, Jayden Elijah, Michael Park, Bre Francis, Kenlee, Anaya Townsend and Betsy Brandt. Dan Romer (Luca, Beasts of the Southern Wild, Beasts of No Nation, Station Eleven) & Osei Essed (Katrina Babies, How to Survive a Pandemic) have composed the show’s original music. Premiering on Thursday, April 27, is the HBO Max limited series Love & Death developed by David E. Kelley and starring Elizabeth Olsen, Jesse Plemons, Lily Rabe, Patrick Fugit, Krysten Ritter, Keir Gilchrist, Tom Pelphrey and Elizabeth Marvel. ‘School’s Out Forever’ Soundtrack to Be Released

Rebellion Music will release a soundtrack album for the British horror comedy School’s Out Forever. The album features the film’s original score composed by Angus MacRae (Fighting for a City, Gypsy’s Revenge). The soundtrack will be released digitally tomorrow, April 24 and will be available to stream/download on Amazon and any other major digital music services. School’s Out Forever is written and directed by Oliver Milburn and stars Oscar Kennedy, Liam Lau Fernandez, Samantha Bond, Alex MacQueen, Jasmine Blackborow, Steve Oram and Anthony Head. ‘Grease: Rise of the Pink Ladies’ Episode 4 Soundtrack EP Released

Capitol Records has released the fourth soundtrack EP for the Paramount+ original series Grease: Rise of the Pink Ladies. The EP features the songs from the fourth episode of the musical comedy (co-written by Justin Tranter who serves as the project’s executive music producer): Sorry to Distract & Pointing Fingers performed by Cheyenne Isabel Wells and Carelessly by Marisa Davila. ‘Nefarious’ Soundtrack Album Released

Sensory Overload Music has released a soundtrack album for the horror thriller Nefarious. The album features the film’s original music composed by Bryan E. Miller (Te Ata, America: Imagine the World Without Her, 2000 Mules). The soundtrack is now available to stream/download here, where you can also check out audio samples. Nefarious is written and directed by Chuck Konzelman & Cary Solomon and stars Sean Patrick Flanery and Jordan Belfi. Opening in theaters nationwide this weekend is the supernatural horror movie Evil Dead Rise written and directed by Lee Cronin and starring Lily Sullivan, Alyssa Sutherland, Morgan Davies, Gabrielle Echols and Nell Fisher. The film’s original music is composed by Stephen McKeon (The Hole in the Ground, Pilgrimage, Queen & Country, Norm of the North, Rose Plays Julie). WaterTower Music has released a soundtrack album featuring the composer’s score last Friday. Also opening wide is the the action thriller Guy Ritchie’s The Covenant co-written and directed by Ritchie and starring Jake Gyllenhaal, Dar Salim, Alexander Ludwig, Antony Starr, Emily Beecham, Bobby Schofield and Jonny Lee Miller. Chris Benstead (The Gentlemen, Operation Fortune: Ruse de guerre, Wrath of Man) has composed the film’s original music. No soundtrack album has been announced. ‘Triumph of the Spirit’ Digital Soundtrack Album Released

Tempest Music has released a digital version of the soundtrack album for the 1989 biographical drama Triumph of the Spirit directed by Robert M. Young and starring Willem Dafoe, Edward James Olmos, Robert Loggia and Wendy Gazelle. The album features the film’s (newly remastered) original music composed and conducted by Cliff Eidelman (Star Trek VI: The Undiscovered Country, Christopher Columbus: The Discovery, He’s Just Not That Into You, Now and Then, One True Thing, The Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants). The soundtrack is now available to stream/download on Amazon and most other major digital music services. Varese Sarabande has previously released the original 1989 CD version of the soundtrack. Netflix Music has released a soundtrack album for the streamer’s documentary series Full Swing. The album features selections of the original music from the show’s first season composed by H. Scott Salinas (The Banker, A Private War, Warrior, The Ballad of Lefty Brown, Cartel Land, Birth of the Dragon). The soundtrack is now available to stream/download on all major digital music services, including Amazon. ‘The Muppets Mayhem’ Soundtrack Album Details

The full details of the soundtrack album for the Disney+ original series The Muppets Mayhem have been revealed. The album features the songs from the show performed by Dr. Teeth and the Electric Mayhem, including several original tracks written by executive music producer Linda Perry. Also included are five tracks from the series’ original score composed by Mick Giacchino (Zootopia+, Extinct, Jim Henson’s Turkey Hollow, That Dirty Black Bag). The soundtrack will be released digitally on May 10 by Walt Disney Records. A vinyl edition will be coming out on May 12 and is now available for pre-order on Amazon.
