The full details of the soundtrack album for the animated sequel Kung Fu Panda 4 have been revealed. The album features the film’s original music composed by Hans Zimmer (The Dark Knight, Dune,The Lion King, Gladiator, Inception, Interstellar) & Steve Mazzaro (The Boss Baby, The SpongeBob Movie: Sponge on the Run, The Amazing Spider-Man 2, The Rhythm Section). Also included is the cover version of Britney Spears’ .…Baby One More Time! (as featured during the movie’s end titles sequence) produced by John Spiker and performed by Tenacious D. The soundtrack will be released digitally tomorrow, March 8 by Back Lot Music and will be available to stream/download on Amazon and any other major digital music services. The film is directed by Mike Mitchell (Trolls, Sky High), co-directed by Stephanie Ma Stine (She-Ra and the Princesses of Power) and stars Jack Black who returns in the title role, as well as Viola Davis, Dustin Hoffman, Awkwafina, James Hong, Bryan Cranston, Ian McShane and Ke Huy Quan. The movie follows Po as he embarks on a journey to fulfill his destiny as the next Spiritual Leader of the Valley of Peace, but must first find a worthy successor to carry on the legacy of the Dragon Warrior.

The details of the soundtrack album for DreamWorks Animation’s animated feature Kung Fu Panda 3 have been revealed. The album features the film’s original music composed by Hans Zimmer (The Lion King, Gladiator, Inception, Interstellar, The Dark Knight). Pianist Lang Lang is featured on a number of tracks of the composer’s score. Also included is a cover version of Kung Fu Fighting by The Vamps, as well as a song by Patrick Brasca feat. Jay Chou. The soundtrack will be released on January 22, 2016 by Sony Classical and is now available for pre-order on Amazon. Kung Fu Panda 3 is directed by Jennifer Yuh Nelson & Alessandro Carloni and features the voice talent of Jack Black, Angelina Jolie, Dustin Hoffman, Jackie Chan, Seth Rogen, Lucy Liu, Bryan Cranston, Kate Hudson, David Cross and J.K. Simmons.
Hans Zimmer to Return for ‘Kung Fu Panda 3’
According to Hans-Zimmer.com, Hans Zimmer will return to score DreamWorks Animation’s upcoming sequel Kung Fu Panda 3. The film is directed by Jennifer Yuh Nelson who previously helmed the second part in the series and features the voice talent of Jack Black, Angelina Jolie, Bryan Cranston, Mads Mikkelsen and Rebel Wilson. The movie continues the journey of Po as he is mastering the art of Kung Fu and faces two threats: one supernatural and the other a little closer to home. Jonathan Aibel and Glenn Berger (Monsters vs. Aliens) who penned the previous two movies have written the screenplay. Melissa Cobb is producing the project and Guillermo del Toro serves as an as executive producer.
