Milan Records has released a soundtrack album for the French TV series The Brigade (B.R.I.). The album features selections of the show’s original music composed by Séverin Favriau (Brothers by Blood, Kanun, A Bluebird in My Heart). The soundtrack is now available to stream/download overseas on all major digital music services, including Apple Music/iTunes, where you can also check out the track list and listen to audio samples. No word yet on a domestic release date. The Brigade is co-written and directed by Jérémie Guez and stars Sofian Khammes, Ophélie Bau, Rabah Nait Oufella, Théo Christine, Waël Sersoub, Nina Meurisse, Bruno Todeschini, Sami Outalbali, Vincent Elbaz and Emmanuelle Devos. Rebellion Music will release a soundtrack album for the British horror comedy School’s Out Forever. The album features the film’s original score composed by Angus MacRae (Fighting for a City, Gypsy’s Revenge). The soundtrack will be released digitally tomorrow, April 24 and will be available to stream/download on Amazon and any other major digital music services. School’s Out Forever is written and directed by Oliver Milburn and stars Oscar Kennedy, Liam Lau Fernandez, Samantha Bond, Alex MacQueen, Jasmine Blackborow, Steve Oram and Anthony Head. Opening in theaters nationwide this weekend is the supernatural horror movie Evil Dead Rise written and directed by Lee Cronin and starring Lily Sullivan, Alyssa Sutherland, Morgan Davies, Gabrielle Echols and Nell Fisher. The film’s original music is composed by Stephen McKeon (The Hole in the Ground, Pilgrimage, Queen & Country, Norm of the North, Rose Plays Julie). WaterTower Music has released a soundtrack album featuring the composer’s score last Friday. Also opening wide is the the action thriller Guy Ritchie’s The Covenant co-written and directed by Ritchie and starring Jake Gyllenhaal, Dar Salim, Alexander Ludwig, Antony Starr, Emily Beecham, Bobby Schofield and Jonny Lee Miller.
