The album features the film’s original score composed by Australian musician Those Who Ride With Giants (aka MJ Callaghan). The movie is directed by Jon M. Chu (Crazy Rich Asians, In the Heights) based on the hit musical created by Stephen Schwartz & Winnie Holzman and stars Cynthia Erivo, Ariana Grande, Michelle Yeoh, Jonathan Bailey, Marissa Bode, Ethan Slater, Bowen Yang, Bronwyn James, Keala Settle, as well as Jeff Goldblum as the legendary Wizard of Oz. The track list of the soundtrack album for M. Night Shyamalan’s psychological thriller Trap has been revealed. The album features the original songs written and performed by Saleka (as fictional pop star Lady Raven), including collaborations with Russ, Kid Cudi and amaarae. The soundtrack will be released digitally on August 2 by Columbia Records and is now available for pre-order on Amazon. A first song (Release) is already available as a digital single now. Trap is written and directed by Shyamalan and also stars Josh Hartnett, Ariel Donoghue, Hayley Mills and Allison Pill.
