The movie is directed by Jon M. Chu (Crazy Rich Asians, In the Heights) based on the hit musical created by Stephen Schwartz & Winnie Holzman and stars Cynthia Erivo, Ariana Grande, Michelle Yeoh, Jonathan Bailey, Marissa Bode, Ethan Slater, Bowen Yang, Bronwyn James, Keala Settle, as well as Jeff Goldblum as the legendary Wizard of Oz. Dragon’s Domain Records has announced a new soundtrack album featuring the world premiere release of two scores composed by Albert Glasser (The Amazing Colossal Man, Invasion U.S.A., Geisha Girl, The Cyclops, High School Confidential). The limited edition CD includes the composer’s music for the 1956 noir thriller Please Murder Me! directed by Peter Godfrey and starring Angela Lansbury, Raymond Burr & Dick Foran, as well as his score for the 1949 crime thriller Treasure of Monte Cristo directed by William Berke and starring Glenn Langan, Adele Jergens and Steve Brodie.
