Variety has confirmed that Thomas Newman (American Beauty, The Shawshank Redemption, Finding Nemo, Skyfall, 1917) has composed the theme for upcoming FX limited series Feud: Capote vs. The Swans. It has previously been revealed that the Academy Award-nominated composer’s daughter Julia Newman is scoring the show written by Jon Robin Baitz (Brothers & Sisters, Stonewall) based on the book Capote’s Women: A True Story of Love, Betrayal, and a Swan Song for an Era by Laurence Leamer and starring Tom Hollander (as Truman Capote), Naomi Watts, Diane Lane, Chloë Sevigny, Calista Flockhart, Demi Moore, Molly Ringwald, Treat Williams, Joe Mantello and Russell Tovey.
