Throttle Records will release a soundtrack album for the British drama In Camera. The album features the film’s original music composed by Clark (aka Chris Clark) (Daniel Isn’t Real, Lisey’s Story, The Last Panthers, National Treasure: Kiri, Rellik) who reworked his score for the record, as well as a cover of Carpenters / Sonic Youth classic Superstar. The soundtrack will be released digitally and on vinyl on September 13. Visit Amazon to pre-order the album in both versions. Intrada Records has announced a new soundtrack release for Netflix’s Fear Street trilogy based on R.L. Stine’s book series of the same title and directed by Leigh Janiak. The 5-CD set features the expanded original scores from all three installments, including Fear Street: Part 1 – 1994 composed by Academy Award nominee Marco Beltrami (3:10 to Yuma, Scream, A Quiet Place, Logan, The Hurt Locker, I, Robot, Hellboy, The Wolverine) & Marcus Trumpp (Love and Monsters, Plane, The Woman in Black 2: Angel of Death, Little Evil), Fear Street: Part 2 – 1978 composed by Beltrami & Brandon Roberts (Thanksgiving, Chaos Walking, Motherland: Fort Salem, Underwater) and Fear Street: Part 3 – 1666 composed by Beltrami, Anna Drubich (Barbarian, Scary Stories to Tell in the Dark, Werewolves Within) & Trumpp, including previously unreleased music. Writer/director James Gunn has revealed that Clint Mansell (Black Swan, Requiem for a Dream, Moon, Noah, The Fountain, The Wrestler) & Kevin Kiner (Ahsoka, Star Wars: The Clone Wars & The Bad Batch, Narcos: Mexico, CSI: Miami, Hell on Wheels) are teaming up to score the upcoming Max adult animated original series Creature Commandos. Prime Video has announced the track list of the soundtrack album for the second season of the streamer’s original series The Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power. The album features selections of the original score from Season 2 composed by Emmy Award winner Bear McCreary (Godzilla: King of the Monsters, 10 Cloverfield Lane, Outlander, The Walking Dead, Battlestar Galactica, Happy Death Day). as well as two new songs featuring vocalists Rufus Wainwright and Jens Kidman. Series stars Sophia Nomvete, Benjamin Walker, Rory Kinnear & Daniel Weyman also lend their vocals to several tracks on the soundtrack, which will be released digitally on August 23 and will be available to stream/download on Amazon and any other major digital music services. Mutant will release a CD and vinyl edition, which are both now available for pre-order here.
