White Tower Music & Simeon Entertainment LLC has released a new a soundtrack album for the crime drama Moses the Black. The album features the film’s original score composed by Kostas Christides (Benji, Maestro in Blue, Love & Gelato, The Baytown Outlaws, Worlds Apart). The soundtrack is now available to stream/download on Amazon or most other major digital music services. Taylor Gang Entertainment has previously released a separate album featuring Wiz Khalifa’s original songs from the movie this past January. Moses the Black is written and directed by Yelena Popovic and stars Omar Epps, Wiz Khalifa himself, Quavo and Chukwudi Iwuji. The movie executive produced by Curtis “50 Cent” Jackson follows a feared gang leader from Chicago’s West Side who was recently released from prison and returns home determined to avenge the murder of his closest friend. La-La Land Records has announced the world premiere soundtrack release for the 1997 crime drama Night Falls on Manhattan directed by Sidney Lumet and starring Andy García, Richard Dreyfuss, Lena Olin, Ian Holm, James Gandolfini and Ron Leibman. The album features the film’s original score composed by Academy Award nominee Mark Isham (A River Runs Through It, Crash,Once Upon a Time, The Accountant, Miracle, Judas and the Black Messiah, Dolphin Tale, 42). Also included is the composer’s score from Brian Robbin’s 1999 coming-of-age dramedy Varsity Blues (recently announced to be released on vinyl by Enjoy the Ride Records). Release of James Horner’s ‘Skyward Spirit’ Score Announced

The Royal Scottish National Orchestra (RSNO) has announced the release of newly discovered score by Academy Award-winning film composer James Horner (Titanic, Avatar, Braveheart, A Beautiful Mind, Aliens, Apollo 13, Field of Dreams, Legends of the Fall), more than ten years after his tragic death. Originally written for aerobatic flight display, Skyward Spirit was rediscovered by Horner’s flying teammate Ed Shipley before it was orchestrated and arranged by the composer’s long-standing engineer and good friend Simon Rhodes last year. Recorded by the RSNO in Scotland’s Studio, conducted by Robert Ziegler, the score will be released this Friday, September 4 on all major streaming platforms following its premiere at the International Ayr Show earlier that day. The album features the film’s expanded original score composed by Danny Elfman (Batman, Spider-Man, The Nightmare Before Christmas, Edward Scissorhands), John Debney (The Passion of the Christ, Iron Man 2, Elf, The Jungle Book, Hocus Pocus), Gavin Greenaway, Heitor Pereira (Despicable Me, Minions, The Smurfs, The Angry Birds Movie), Rodriguez himself, Los Lobos and Harry Gregson-Williams (Shrek, The Chronicles of Narnia, Gladiator 2, The Martian), including previously unreleased music, alternate versions and demo cues.
