La-La Land Records has announced the world premiere soundtrack release for the 1997 crime drama Night Falls on Manhattan directed by Sidney Lumet and starring Andy García, Richard Dreyfuss, Lena Olin, Ian Holm, James Gandolfini and Ron Leibman. The album features the film’s original score composed by Academy Award nominee Mark Isham (A River Runs Through It, Crash,Once Upon a Time, The Accountant, Miracle, Judas and the Black Messiah, Dolphin Tale, 42). Also included is the composer’s score from Brian Robbin’s 1999 coming-of-age dramedy Varsity Blues (recently announced to be released on vinyl by Enjoy the Ride Records). The CD, which is limited to 1,000 copies, is now available to order on the label’s official website, where you can also check out audio samples and find out more about the release. Night Falls on Manhattan was released in theaters in May of 1997 by Paramount Pictures and is now available on VOD, Blu-ray and DVD.
