Reuben Silverbird, Rossie Harris, Phillip Brock, José Ferrer, Michael Alldredge, Sean McClory and Lee de Broux. The album features the film’s original score composed and conducted by Emmy Award winner Lee Holdridge (Splash, The Mists of Avalon, The Beastmaster, Mr. MomOld Gringo, Oliver’s Story). The soundtrack was released digitally on the label’s official website last month and is now also available to stream/download on Amazon and any other major digital music services. World Premiere Release of Lee Holdridge’s ‘Sealed with a Kiss’ Score Announced
Dragon’s Domain Records has announced a new soundtrack album featuring two scores written by Emmy Award-winning composer Lee Holdridge (Splash, The Mists of Avalon, The Beastmaster, Old Gringo, Mr. Mom, Oliver’s Story). The CD features the premiere release of his music from the 1999 CBS movie Sealed with a Kiss directed by Ron Lagomarsino and starring John Stamos, Annabeth Gish, Jane Sibbett, Robert Stack, Angie Dickinson, Barry Corbin and Nell Carter. Also included is his score from the 1973 drama Jeremy written and directed by Arthur Barron and starring Robby Benson & Glynnis O’Connor (previously released on vinyl in 1973 by United Artists). Dragon’s Domain Records has announced a new soundtrack album featuring four scores composed and conducted by Emmy Award winner Lee Holdridge (Splash, The Beastmaster, Mr. Mom, The Mists of Avalon, Old Gringo, Oliver’s Story) for several documentary films set during the Olympics. Titles include the composer’s music from Bud Greenspan’s 1985 documentary 16 Days of Glory about the 1984 Los Angeles Summer Olympics, as well as Barcelona 1992, The Spirit of the Olympics and Lillhammer 1994. Quartet Records has announced the world premiere soundtrack release for the 1983 comedy Mr. Mom directed by Stan Dragoti, written by John Hughes and starring Michael Keaton, Teri Garr, Jeffrey Tambor, Ann Jillian, Christopher Lloyd and Martin Mull. The album features the original score from the movie composed and conducted by Lee Holdridge (Splash, The Mists of Avalon, The Beastmaster, Old Gringo, Oliver’s Story). New Soundtrack Albums for ‘A Passage to India’ and ‘The Beastmaster’ Announced
Quartet Records has announced three new limited edition soundtrack releases. First up is a new soundtrack album for the 1984 historical drama A Passage to India directed by David Lean and starring Judy David, Victor Banerjee, Peggy Ashcroft, James Fox and Alec Guiness. The album features the film’s complete original score composed and conducted by Maurice Jarre who previously worked with the director on Lawrence of Arabia, Doctor Zhivago and Ryan’s Daughter. The release includes more than 20 minutes of previously unreleased music, including many cues that were not used in the final cut of the movie. The composer was honored with his third Academy Award for his score in 1985 and the movie received ten more nominations. The music is performed by the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra.
