Capitol Records has released the ninth soundtrack for the Paramount+ original series Grease: Rise of the Pink Ladies. The EP features the original songs from the ninth episode of the musical comedy: Face to Face performed by cast members Marisa Davila, Tricia Fukuhara, Ari Notartomaso & Cheyenne Isabel Wells, I’m in Love performed by Wells and Brutal Honesty performed by the show’s executive music producer Justin Tranter & Fukuhara. Quartet Records has announced a soundtrack album for the Mexican adventure drama The Mighty Victoria (El Poderoso Victoria). The album features the film’s original music composed and conducted by Fernando Velázquez (The Orphanage, The Impossible, A Monster Calls, Hercules, Devil, Crimson Peak). The soundtrack is now available to order as a limited edition CD on the label’s official website, where you can also check out the full album details and listen to audio samples. Lakeshore Records has released a soundtrack album for the German Amazon original series The Gryphon (Der Greif). The album features selections of the show’s original music composed by Thomas Mehlhorn & Jürgen Kramlofsky. The soundtrack is now available to stream/download here, where you can also check out the track list and listen to audio samples. The Gryphon is developed by Erol Yesilkaya & Sebastian Marka based on the fantasy book series by Wolfgang Hohlbein and stars Jeremias Meyer, Lea Drinda, Zoran Pingel and Theo Trebs. The fantasy drama follows three misfits who discover a fantastic world called The Black Tower where a world-devouring monster mercilessly subjugates all living creatures. Premiering tomorrow, May 29, is the drama Reality co-written and directed by Tina Satter and starring Sydney Sweeney, Josh Hamilton, Marchánt Davis. The film’s original music is composed by Nathan Micay (IndustryThe Last Bus). Also premiering tomorrow in the U.S. is the British supernatural thriller series The Rising developed by Pete McTighe & Charlotte Wolf and starring Clara Rugaard, Nenda Neururer, Daniel Ings, Solly McLeod, Alex Lanipekun, Emily Taaffe and Robyn Cara. Carly Paradis (Line of Duty, The Innocents, The Pembrokeshire Murders, Sick Note) has composed the show’s original music. The details of the fourth soundtrack album for the HBO original series Succession have been revealed. The album features the original music from the show’s fourth and final season composed by Emmy Award winner and Academy Award nominee Nicholas Britell (Moonlight, Andor, Cruella, If Beale Street Could Talk, The Big Short, Don’t Look Up). The soundtrack will be released digitally tomorrow, May 29 by Britell’s new label, Lake George Music Group, and will be available to stream/download on all major digital music services, including Amazon. Republic Records has previously released a soundtrack featuring Britell’s score from Season 3, while WaterTower Music released the official Season 2 soundtrack and Milan Records has released the Season 1 album. Succession is created by Jesse Armstrong and stars Nicholas Braun, Brian Cox, Dagmara Dominczyk, Kieran Culkin, Justin Lupe, Peter Friedman, David Rasche, Matthew Macfadyen, Alan Ruck, Jeremy Strong, Sarah Snook, J. The film is directed by Jeff Rowe (The Mitchells vs the Machines), co-directed by Kyler Spears and features the voices of Micah Abbey, Shamon Brown Jr, Hannibal Buress, Rose Byrne, John Cena, Nicolas Cantu, Ice Cube, Jackie Chan, Natasia Demetriou, Giancarlo Esposito, Ayo Edebiri, Brady Noon, Post Malone, Seth Rogen, Paul Rudd and Maya Rudolph. Blunatic Records has released a soundtrack album for the horror thriller The Ghosts of Monday. The album features the film’s original music composed by Christina Georgiou (A Viper’s Pit). The soundtrack is now available to stream/download on Amazon and any other major digital music services. The Ghosts of Monday is directed by Francesco Cinquemani and stars Julian Sands, Elva Trill, Mariana Rosset and Mark Huberman. The movie tells the story of a group of U.S. filmmakers who travel to Cyprus to film a documentary in the tragically famous Hotel Gula, a once popular resort where more than a hundred people died in mysterious circumstances. Hildur Guđnadóttir (JokerChernobyl, Sicario: Day of the Soldado, Tar) is attached to score the upcoming drama Hedda Gabler. The film is written and directed by Nia DaCosta (Candyman, The Marvels) and will star Tessa Thompson in the title role. The movie is based on Henrik Ibsen’s famed 1891 stage play and follows the titular character as she navigates a house she does not want, a marriage she feels trapped in and an ex-lover who has reappeared in her life. Opening in theaters nationwide this weekend is Disney’s live-action adaptation of The Little Mermaid directed by Rob Marshall and starring Halle Bailey, Jonah Hauer-King, Melissa McCarthy, Javier Bardem, Jacob Tremblay, Daveed Diggs and Awkwafina. The film’s original score is composed by Alan Menken (Beauty and the Beast, Aladdin, Enchanted) and the movie’s songs are written by Menken, Howard Ashman and Lin-Manuel Miranda. Walt Disney Records has released two soundtrack albums: a regular edition featuring all the songs and five tracks from Menken’s score (click here for the full details) and a deluxe edition featuring the songs and Menken’s full score (click here for more information).

Also opening wide is the action comedy The Machine directed by Peter Atencio and starring Bert Kreischer, Mark Hamill, Stephanie Kurtzuba, Jimmy Tatro, Jess Gabor and Iva Babić. Joseph Trapanese (The Witcher, OblivionShadow and Bone, The Greatest Showman, Straight Outta Compton) has composed the film’s original music.
