Sky Music will release a soundtrack album for the documentary Flight 149: Hostage of War. The album features the film’s original music composed by Alexander Parsons (Rockfield: The Studio on the Farm, Stephen: The Murder that Changed a Nation, Curse of the Chippendales) & Ollie Howell (Rise of the Footsoldier 4: Marbella, Kiss of the Con Queen, Forced Out). The soundtrack will be released digitally tomorrow, June 11 and will be available to stream/download Amazon and any other major digital music services. Flight 149: Hostage of War is directed by Jenny Ash and tells the story of the passengers and crew on BA flight 149 who landed in the warzone on the morning of the 1990 Kuwait invasion, becoming Saddam Hussein’s hostages in a rapidly escalating international crisis.. The movie features testimonies from the key players, including the surviving hostages, Kuwaiti resistance fighters, political insiders and unvestigative journalist Stephen Davis. The documentary premiered at this year’s SXSW Film Festival and will debut in the UK tomorrow on Sky Documentaries and the streaming service NOW.
