Expanded ‘De Sade’ Soundtrack Album Announced

Quartet Records has announced a new soundtrack album for the 1969 drama De Sade directed by Cy Endfield and starring Keir Dullea, Senta Berger, Lilli Palmer, John Huston, Anna Massey and Sonja Ziemann. The album features the complete original score from the American International Pictures production composed and conducted by Billy Strange (who is best known as a songwriter of hits including Elvis Presley’s A Little Less Conversation) and performed by the Berlin Symphony Orchestra, including previously unreleased music, as well as several alternate tracks. The CD, which is limited to 1,000 copies, is now available to order on the label’s official website, where you can also check out audio samples and find out more about the release. Trent Reznor & Atticus Ross (The Social Network, Soul, Challengers, Watchmen, Gone Girl, The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo) have contributed the theme and music for the first episode.
