The film is written and directed by Michael Russell Gunn (in his feature directorial debut) and stars Jeff Daniels, Jared Harris, J.K. Simmons, Hope Davis, Branka Katic and Aya Cash. The movie takes place in 1986 during the Cold War and chronicles the Reykjavik Summit, when political enemies Ronald Reagan and Mikhail Gorbachev met in Iceland over one long, tense weekend to decide if there will be peace or war in the world. The album features the original songs (performed by Jessi, Yaeji, Jonah Wolf, Sugs, eaJ & others) and selections of the show’s original score composed by Brian H. Kim (Spoiler Alert, Search Party, Panic, My Life with the Walter Boys, BH90210, Star vs. the Forces of Evil).
