Also included are two songs by Tommy Strange & The Features and Nick Garrie. The soundtrack will be released on September 24, 2013 and is now available for pre-order on Amazon. We Are What We Are is directed by Jim Mickle and stars Bill Sage, Ambyr Childers, Julia Garner, Wyatt Russell, Nick Damici and Kelly McGillis. The movie is a remake of the 2010 Mexican film of the same name and follows a family of cannibals who, after the death of the father, try to continue a ritualistic tradition of kidnapping and eating other humans. The film marks the English language directing debut of Henrik Ruben Genz (Terribly Happy) and stars James Franco, Kate Hudson, Omar Sy, Sam Spruell and Tom Wilkinson. The movie centers on an American couple living in London who fall into severe debt renovating her family’s home and find a stack of cash in their deceased neighbor’s house. Kelly Masterson (Before the Devil Knows You’re Dead, Snowpiercer), Paul Grellong and Christina Hodson wrote the script based on a novel by Marcus Sakey. Thomas Gammeltoft, Ben Forkner, Tobey Maguire, Eric Kranzler, Ed Cathell (The Paperboy) and Mark Gill (Olympus Has FallenLaw Abiding Citizen) are producing the Millennium Films production. ‘Paradise’ Soundtrack Details

paradiseMilan Records will release a soundtrack album for Diablo Cody’s indie comedy Paradise. The album features the film’s original music written by Academy Award-winning composer Rachel Portman (Emma, The Cider House Rules, Chocolat). Also included is the song Milky White Way performed by actress Julianne Hough. The soundtrack will be released digitally and physically on September 24, 2013 and is now available for pre-order on Amazon. Paradise is written and directed by Cody and stars Julianne Hough, Russell Brand, Octavia Spencer, Holly Hunter and Nick Offerman. The movie follows a sheltered young woman who loses her faith after a plane crash and goes to Las Vegas to experience the wild life, where she meets an unlikely companion who helps her find her true self. amazoniaBruno Coulais has scored the 3D documentary Amazonia. The film is directed by Thierry Ragobert and centers on a domesticated capuchin monkey that is released into the wild and suddenly finds itself fighting for survival in the wilds of the Amazon jungle. Fabiano Gullane & Caio Gullane (The Year My Parents Went On Vacation), Laurent Baujard and Stéphane Millièr are producing the Biloba Films and Gullane production. Coulais has previously scored Ragobert’s 2006 documentary The White Planet. The French/Brazilian co-production just premiered at the Venice Film Festival and is also being shown at the Toronto Film Festival. A theatrical release in France is set for November 27, 2013. last-tango-in-halifaxPremiering tonight is the six-part series Last Tango in Halifax created by Sally Wainwright and starring Derek Jacobi, Anne Reid, Sarah Lancashire and Nicola Walker. The show’s original score is composed by Murray Gold (Doctor Who). The comedy drama follows two widowers in their seventies. When their respective grandsons put their details on Facebook they rediscover a passionate relationship that started over sixty years ago. Euros Lynn and Sam Donovan directed the project. riddickOpening in over 3000 theaters is the sci-fi action film Riddick written and directed by David Twohy and starring Vin Diesel, Karl Urban, Jodi Molla, Matt Nable, Katee Sackhoff, Dave Bautista, Bokeem Woodbine, Raoul Trujillo and Nolan Gerard Funk. The film’s music is composed by Graeme Revell (Pineapple Express, From Dusk Till Dawn, Sin City) who has previoulsy scored the other films in the Riddick trilogy, Pitch Black and The Chronicles of Riddick. A soundtrack album was originally announced to be released on Back Lot Music, but has since been canceled. adoreOpening in limited release is the indie drama Adore directed by Anne Fontaine and starring Naomi Watts, Robin Wright, Xavier Samuel, James Frechevile and Ben Mendelsohn. The film’s original score is composed and conducted by Christopher Gordon (Master and Commander, Daybreakers). Antony Partos (Animal Kingdom) has provided additional music. Varese Sarabande has released a soundtrack album featuring the music of both composers digitally earlier this week. A CD release is set for September 24. The album features the film’s original music composed by Jóhann Jóhannsson (Personal Effects, For Ellen). The soundtrack will be released digitally on September 17, 2013 and is now available for pre-order on Amazon. Trevor Morris to Score The CW’s ‘Reign’

reignTrevor Morris has been hired to score the upcoming CW drama Reign. The show is created by Laurie McCarthy (Ghost Whisperer) and stars Adelaide Kane, Toby Regbo, Torrance Coombs, Megan Follows, Alan Van Sprang, Celina Sinden, Caitlin Stasey, Anna Popplewell and Jenessa Grant. The series tells the previously unknown story of Mary Queen of Scots’ rise to power when she arrives in France as a 15-year-old, betrothed to Prince Francis, and with her three best friends as ladies-in-waiting. McCarthy is executive producing the Warner Bros Television and CBS Television Studios production with Frank Siracusa (Beauty and the Beast).
